Looping electric instruments...even those turntables are being scratched artificially. All of that requires electricity. It doesn't require a lot of skill to pull this off... Let's see you play flamenco guitar.... that requires skill and no electricity.

Using the crossfader to mix isn't a beginner thing, there's different ways to mix if that suits them then why not 💯

You forgot to mention video, Alot of DJS are starting to mix house music video remixes as there is videopools out there.. and it seems like video DJing is becoming more popular, and CDJs don't output video, at least not "yet"..

Vinyl wins for me .. I also like cd ..it's a personal choice . Most folk don't have a music ear. It's also a scientific fact through hearing tests .

thats the point, what is more accurate. And if you want cd sound as vinly as you described with teh steroe, but some guitar sounbding bit on the wrong speaker, you an record this way. But point is - it has to reproduce how the author wants the record to sound. But stereo is just small thing. Bigges thing for me feels like it might be imposible to right so perfectly into plastic plus overtime plastic wears. While when you play digital from SSD - nothing has worn.

There is one thing not mentioned in this video: the inherently analog issue of generation loss. Anyone who has copied material from a cassette tape to another tape has experienced this phenomenon to some degree; each copy sounds a little less clear (especially in the high end) than the tape it was copied from. I strongly suspect that the "warmth" that vinyl fans think they're hearing is (at least partially) from the fact that a vinyl copy of any master tape is at least one generation down from the source tape. (Back in the day when everything was analog, it could be even more; as record companies were pretty casual about whether they were using the original or a copy tape. Or a copy of a copy....) As the owner of an original Teac 144 Portastudio, I can tell you that this was something that always had to be considered; you could only submix one or two times before you ended up with a muddy mess....

Free tip for you, keep all your extension and power outlets out of the floor, especially with carpets. Just buy a few racks that you can install under desks or tables and wire them that way, not only will it look cleaner, but safer as well.

Tried this today with Pioneer DDJ-SX and DDJ-SX2. I'm planning to use SX2 for decks 1 & 2 and SX for decks 3 & 4. Unfortunately when I press the button on FX to switch deck from 1 to 3 it also changes in on the FX2. Any solutions how to keep them separate?

If you have an Innofader set to a gradual curve you'll not need those upfaders. A perfect crossfader that'll still be working when your controller is gone.
