This was probably just before the big Pfizer expansion. That really changed the business flow in Sandwich from then. The actual town centre looks pretty much as it does now - apart from the fact that you can see the old "Whites" shop - which is now a "Starbucks". I can't remember if the big supermarket behind the Red Cow was being built around that time. Oh - the old butcher's shop is there(with the stripey red and white outside) - that's a carpet shop now(I think). The pharmacy has moved from No Name Street opposite Spar; in its place, there's that French shop which sells French produce. Interesting piece of history of the town.

All this realy shows is how years behind sandwich actualy is 😂 At 1.79 there is a man walking past nation wide in a long cream coloured trench coat .. He is still seem today .. it's never changed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Christ
