Sorry but I think Michael Sweet is still AWESOME yeah his singing isn't what it once was - BUT he is the STAR of Stryper - wrote all their hits and look at him still NAILED the solo and played all the rhythm with perfect Mesa/Boogie crunch at 60+ however old he is - in his prime - Michael Sweet is/was a truly under-appreciated rock star... in a normal non-Christian band he would have been SO much more.

It's real hard to play live and sound like you're a sad sight when it doesn't sound like the record and you don't sound good with your singing anymore as a group your first couple of live shows were great I used to watch you at churches but now my cover band is going to sound better than this and my fingers twice as good as you Mike I went to school with you I'm a friend Steve kolnick he brought you over to my house and you said I'd be a good drummer but your brother is better and at the time you guys were in rocks regime or whatever and he was better but he never got any better he stayed the same I'll see you around brother Christ is our king All I do is listen to your recorded music and praise God live can't do it
