an old simpson clip put the line "it was the best of times..." in my mind, and after a while i remembered it was in this song that i first heard it, so now i just want to say much i appreciate your music: i first heard one of your songs on kvr five years ago and quickly became a fan of your work.

+GVNZ9 Thanks a lot. Glad you like the songs. Actually, myself and the Simpsons stole that line from Charles Dickens and his novel, A Tale of Two Cities. Always loved that line caused it applied perfectly to my growing up in a small town. So I used it in my song.
