Wow! Thank you I never really understood the graven image thing with regard to movies. I love how you stated creative license with the other Biblical characters are fine if it fits christian principles, but none should be done with any member of the Godhead. It hides and does not reveal all depthness and truth of who the Godhead is. It's someone elses imagination but we are to worship in Spirit and truth Jesus said, and let the word connect us to God, who created us in His image, and therefore knows the formula we need to use to bond with our Creator! And its not watching movies and episodes of the chosen over and over. Many fans do not read their Bibles over and over, and probably read thru the lens of the tv show, not the lens of the Holy Spirit. I've read where many fans say they see the face of the actors when they do read or hear sermons. They look for scenes from the show in the Bible! Sad. How could anyone think any actor can reflect Jesus! It was awesome how you made mention of how showing Jesus on the cross, shows His pain but not His joy which many would not understand why He would be joyful! You've really opened my eyes! This is absurd. Jesus existed. We can represent him visually. For most of western civilization, people were illiterate. The only way to teach was visually. I dont know what fringe group you are with, but your views are childish.

I think the chosen has become such a hit, is because the church has failed to give a proper interpretation of our Father in Heaven's great compassion for his people. You need to wake up! Heavenly Father does have a spirit and BODY! Ask yourself this question: Why would God give us a body if he doesn't have one. We are his sons and daughters.
