I see so many of these junk reviews on YT with the same format and narrative, for everything from kayaks to bikes, to backpacks and tents - I think they are all made by AI, and are poisoning the honest reviews done by folks with real credentials that really care about helping others. Who pays for these? Sure the C3 and C4 reels are great but only if you buy an older one made before they stopped making them in Sweden.

@ Yes I have a couple of those, made before the early 2000’s, but sometime within the last 15 years, even the C3 and C4 reels were only assembled in Sweden, with some outsourced parts. This is the word on the street, outside the US there is no difference between “made in” versus “assembled in”, so no way for most people to know for sure with the recent ones - luckily there is a good source of older ones.

Your results make no sense. The #10 choice is near identical to the #4 choice, except the #10 PLB is a more capable unit. So why would it rank lower? Most of the units you show aren't even PLBs at all. They're satellite messengers. What a hot mess.
