What is really missing in the java language until now is the ability to return multiple result from a function. I think any other language already have it from the beginning and they call it tuples. For now if you want to return the same in java you have to create object or record to contain it

Venkat is doing some advertising for the newest Java versions. I think here payed by oracle, because he did not criticised any feature. the new switch statement is still very ugly, the record feature is really very very very stupid. just compare it with spring lombock!!! I wonder why not make lombock as part of the JDK? why not? the people have made a way much better work. why this silly record feature?

the features in Java are somehow handicapped. the record feature is really a disappointment: no extends, no this no that, wtf !!! if you can't do it yourself, than copy paste from spring framework, to achieve a feature without compromises. very sad.

Kinda sad, that there's some lag of what he's typing, especially at the end, where you hardly can see what he's doing.

He presents the features well but seems like he is scared of silence. He constantly keeps ranting without a break, which is quite annoying.
