How someone managed to won with Han2 in a meta filled with Daring Raids and Tarkintowns is beyond me.

Hi man, Agree that Showdown's result are pretty much meaningless (that's why I don't cover them) however, fennec is not a "meme" deck. The deck is a lot stronger since the Boba ban, and it has decent MU, especially against other aggro decks. Fennic has a strong showing at my locals. We had a weekly where Fennic was 1 and 2. Both red both were very similar decks. Currently my locals are Quinlan and Krennic.

What’s your problem with fennec? It almost top 8 the FL PQ last season and has done well for us fennec believers. My only reason I didn’t play her at my last PQ last season was because of Boba. The rebel package overall is strong and ambush is the strongest keyword in the game. Sab on a leader is way under rated.

I'm the cad tarkintown in 3rd at collective. I had no idea I had stats up anywhere. Also that fennec dude is mad you have said fennec sucks lol

People been saying that Fennec has potential. I've been playing her since set 2 and my worst performance at a showdown/1K has been top 8. I've had multiple top 4s and also won a 1K. At my local PQ with 120 players I finished 10th, with my tiebreaker being just 0.3% behind the 8th place. This is no coincidence, Fennec is difficult to play against since it has answers to almost everything. You gotta have a very good understanding of the meta to know which cards to include in the deck and how to resource during a game. Most people prefer sticking to straightforward meta decks.

Dead game varies by location/store. My LGS (I'm right outside Philadelphia) two weeks ago only two of us were there to play. Last week it was only me. The dead game people aren't necessarily wrong, It is a valid criticism/concern. Star Wars to a degree has lost popularity due to Disney distorting what it is about (personal opinion). Some shows like Andor have been bangers and others like The Acolyte were complete duds. How much does that affect the card game? That is the question. FFG's recent lack of success with Star Wars games in general (RIP Destiny, X-Wing and Armada) has given gamers pause with good reason. Gameplay is great in my opinion. Rules are fairly simple. For what it is worth, despite ample/legitimate concerns, I personally want and hope to see this game continue to be successful.

There are currently a few ways to buff punishing one. Huyang, OB og just simply some of the current upgrades like armed to the teeth. Im running all in Bossk and it is OK easy to activate the ship with all the bounties that can be collected 😊

Pilots are just going to be another failed keyword like exploit, coordinate, capture and smuggle. Too many upgrade removals for it to have any effect in the game. You might get a pilot to stay in-game every now and then but in the new set, upgrade removals will be a staple in every deck so pilots won't really see the light of day.

This game will just die in Germany. Some cards there are less then 10-20 cards offered on CM. Nobody wants to open displays anymore cause there are just concepeted to be shitty. I had either no fun with opening swu.

and fetts firespray can not attack immediately with a pilot. you attach the pilot after fetts firespray is played. the ships ability is an on play effect and only readies if you control the boba or jango already. so you still have to wait a whole phase unless you have the non leader boba or jango in play already.

you know what else will get a lot better in this set. strafing gunship. throw a pilot on that and now the ground must absolutely fear the space

Sorry, but you forgot to mention the most important card to stop the piloting; Confiscate. Defeat any upgrade for the cost of one!

i dont think the name of this video is very accurate, uc/r seem to be only worth so much, i cant see UC gaining much extra value over whats there now, and rares are plentiful enough that even the very best are very cheap. this is more of a "cards to watch out for with set 4"

Love this. As a totally new player to SWU and TCGs in general, it's a little daunting with the cost of the really good cards. Always have an eye out for decent replacements. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.

Kit Fisto is underrated. Huge stats and saboteur, and an on attack ability. And some great tags like force, Jedi, republic.

I know its different aspects but Aurra Sing is a decent alternative to Vader as well. With Vader you often look for a sentinel anyway and she's a pseudo sentinel who readies every time a ground unit hits your base so they'll probably look to deal with her first.

Good video, would love to see more budget replacements. Some good ones to cover I think would be: Avenger, Krayt dragon, mace windu, and wrecker. Also different topic but would be cool to see you rank removal cards like power of the dark side and overwhelming barrage. Also cool to see a video on some underrated and/or under used cards.
