I did learn the ruling for Primite Roar and Called by the grave. It does remove the target and effectively makes it so the target no longer exists and cannot check it to fullfill the effect of Primite Roar.

Megalo would have been chainlink 3 in this case. Atlanteans are mandatory effects, therefore they will always resolve first before any field effects. In this case your atlantean effects would both have been chainblocked by megalo.

I love this deck. Kairyu-Shin is probably becoming my favorite Monster Card. I remember during my childhood opening packs I was enamored by the Umi-related card's artwork (Orca Mega Fortress or whatever, Salvage, those missile fish, legendary fisherman, etc). Helps my memory that i wanted to be a Marine Biologist back then. Feels good to 1) have those memories come back, and 2) have these cards be good.

I’ve watched a handful of videos of yours . I’m subbed. But I see you curse frequently but seeing you be more restrained because it’s a kid is cool lol I’ve watched people be absolute jerks to even kids in locals videos . I have trouble playing skill drain in this deck even if I understand the utility of the card, what do you think of powersink stone instead? knowing that on the opponent’s turn we usually use a jellyfish effect, whale, fenrir... the opponent can only do one of monster effect or at worst 2!... which prevents any combo

I mean, if youre already running Crossouts, and you know how much Atlan Merm summons from Hand and Extra, is keeping 1 pururllia in really a dead card goinn first? Sure, if you draw it, its no longer a crossout target... but it is still a water? So you can discard it for cost for Minstrel or all the other things that need water?... Not sure it is ever a dead card ngl. but hey, thats just my take on it

I've watched 2 videos now with this Mermail player in them, and he's cheated in BOTH of them. You cannot add Atlantean Dragoons off of an Atlantean Dragoons effect.

Welcome resetting itself is legal. Welcome in grave is a Trap 'EFFECT". Any Trap being activated in a GY is an EFFECT being activated. So after Trap Trick has resolved, he can still activate the Welcome to reset itself. He would also, for example, be able to activate a Rollback and/or a Black Goat aswell. Any trap in the GY is not a Trap 'Card' being activated. :)

I could be wrong, but im like 90% sure that at 5:09 when you suggest that the opponent can Lava Golem you, I don't believe they can. As you control Fenrir, you already have your 1 non-water monster on the field. And if youre opponent were to summon a lava golem, it would be attempting to summon a non-water monster. As the game does not care what you intend to use for Tributing, it wont care that the fenrir would be leaving the field, the game only checks when attempting to summon, if that summon would be legal in the current boardstate. And with your current board state, a Lava golem would not. Its the same rules as Tribute summoning under TCBOO or Rivalry. The game does not care if youre replacing whats on board, you cannot even attempt to summon a card that would be illegal on the board if the board wouldnt change. So maybe get it verified, but make sure you dont get cheesed by someone in the future potentially cheating you if they Lava golem your board when you already control your 1 non-water, as the lock applies to both of you. :)
