Made for all out motocross. Basically a works bike from the factory. Pretty sure that was the model that won the usgp motocross world championship.

AWESOME as I have a Moto 4 but an 86... Just what I needed. It is my first ATV at 61..... Excite as a little kid. I rebuilt the motor from the jug up with new valves. Bought it for $600 and I have $600 into it as it should last me a long time. Watched a LOT of KZbin's to do this... I will use the Yamaha oil that was meant to go into it BUT will change it more often. Like 3 to 4 times a year. Spring, mid-summer and fall as I will put a lot of miles on it but easy miles, NO hill climbing.

You could have just reached down from the top without having to take anything off for the left side low beam. You would have to go from underneath for the right side though

I’m no expert, that’s why I’m watching the video but the folks at the Yamaha dealer in town tell me you should be using an oil that is compatible and designed for wet clutch applications. Like a Yamalube or motorcycle type oil, not conventional oil. I guess the additives in the conventional oil harm the clutches. Just thought I would pass it along!

@Deucealive759 ай бұрын
The engine in the video isn't a Greyhound. If you notice it has a clone block. The Greyhound did not have a clone block, and you mentioned the 5 bolt head. And the Greyhound did not have a standard clone gas tank. HF sold clones prior to the Greyhound, but I don't recall what they were named.

Great video but you don’t need to take the tires off. I mean it gives you plenty of extra space but I done my 2012 MKZ without taking the tires off. Just turned the wheel and reach up there. And the driver side lights were the easiest to change. Took me 10mins to change low beam, high beam, and fog lights on the driver side. Passenger side was a pain tho. Took me the longest I’ll admit.

@@CoopDeViLLeOGhow do you do it without taking the wheel off
@CoopDeViLLeOG Жыл бұрын
@@tahree-amir turn the wheel all the way to get enough clearance, pull the 2-4 plastic push/safety pins on your plastic protective wheel liner and reach up behind it and you can reach your low beams easily. And to get to your fog lights, just take off the plastic skid plate or whatever it is under the front bumper. You can’t miss it. I suggest having those ramps you ride up on. It’s makes it a lot easier. It is a lil bit of a hassle but if you have some simple tools and ramps it’s really not that bad. However the high beams are really hard to get to. I actually haven’t been able to get to mine because the A/C lines are in the way. But anyways hope this helps.

You should have left a gap for the weld to set in. After grinding there wasn't much weld left.

You need to learn how to install the rings on the piston, you shouldn't open both ends of the ring and force it on. You start with one end and walk it round.
