Theaters generally won't show movies over 3 hours. It's a hard sell for the studios. One of the reasons _Gettysburg_ didn't get a wide release.

Boring! That's why they were cut. It works for a novel, but not for an action movie.

Feel like I am not in the majority here but I think they did a good job of leaving a lot these scenes out because of pacing reasons

They missed a few important facts about the tank crews, here's a very disturbing one. More often than not, the tanks would roll right over fox holes with enemy still in them crouching and waiting. The tank commander would order the tank to either stop, gun it in neutral, exhaust slowly suffocating the men or they would spin the tank around and around until it ground up the troops underneath. (Read Donald Burgett, " 7 Roads to Hell ") best book you'll ever read in your life.💯

Best hour I spent in long time. these were the best parts of the movie. The horrors of war can never be explained. Just lived thru . The story's of war the movie s of war are just the tip of it if we heard the true story it would make people sick. So thank you to the survivors . Because that's all they are that's why they say the heroes are the one's they left behind. their friends and brothers and a hole in their humanity.

Whoever released the original without these scenes should be fired! These scenes are incredible and show more talent of the crew's acting abilities and fully encapsulated the true nature of a team like this. Sad. There should be a director's cut with all of these scenes added.

I love the deleted scenes they would have added even more character to this already awesome movie. More in depth connection to what they all went through.

I'm of the opinion that they should have kept some of these scenes and edited some of that crap with Fabian. The cab scene, for example, should have been kept in its entirety. I understand the need for Fabian, but in a smaller dose. I don't like her near as much as Tarantino.

I'm barely halfway through these deleted scenes and can only say they would have made a very good movie even better. That opening scene immediately puts you in an extremely uneasy place. Great acting all the way around.

It's literally only 2 scenes here, the first where you can't even tell what she's saying, period. The second scene is actually in the movie copy I have, so they're not deleted.

I can’t believe that they would ever put an untrained soldier into a tank , they would put him into the infantry maybe. I loved this movie though.

I think the dialogue here is a bit over the top. Many men carried out their tasks and mental numbing is more the usual response. There is is a switch people flick when overwhelmed with horror that allows them to continue to function. That doesn’t negate what they experienced. There was a reason they cut these scenes. The dialogue is unusually infantile and crass. Not every soldier talked like that.

Yo! There's a scene in the 1st movie when they're watching a cave painting that shows two cave exits; at the end of that scene the camera starts to pan down from the top part of the painting and then it fades away or cut before it would show the bottom part of the drawing. But I distinctly remember the camera further panning down and showing the bottom part of the painting that depicts monsters or sacrifices being made at the base of the mountain (don't remember exactly what, but that part definetely indicates danger/paranormal stuff). My problem is that I could swear on my life that I once saw that part of that scene - therefore it exists, and, furthermore, it just doesn't make sense for me to not include that part in that scene -, but I can't find it in the Blu-ray release and basically any mention of it on the internet - though I haven't done extensive research. Am I remembering wrong, can someone confirm one thing or the other? I know it's kind of silly, but it's driving me crazy. . .
