No legal issue to transportation on their side, buuuttt I would never trust a split valve cap for nothing!!!!!!! The square tuberacks should extend past the regulators and have a locking door that secures the bottles from sliding and when you use open door, slide bottle out and bobs your uncle. Other wise nice knowing ya!

Terrible design bottles should never be kept on their side it is a legal transport issue as well as a safety issues especially with high pressure bottles or acetylene.

You are wrong. It's not illegal to have them on the side. Unless you have a certain amount of oxygen. Might vary depending on the state you're in though. And his acetylene is upright. I've got a very similar setup on my rig and it works great
@randomm9683
@randomm9683 Ай бұрын
@@2BFabrications in my state all high pressure bottles must be transported upright and secured. The safety issue I see with the high pressure bottles is the fact that you are positioning the bottle to potentially turn it into a projectile in a situation involving a rear end collision or any other serious damage to the valve of the bottle provided the bottle is full enough and for acetylene bottle. Not everyone is aware they need to be kept upright

03 ford explorer process. Drove perfect for about 6 months. Month number 7 a loud obnoxious rattling noise was in the exhaust system likes rocks rattling. The rattling lasted 5 days but still drove fine. The same day the rattling stopped I was unable to drive past 60 miles per hour. Over time it dropped to 55 the 50 the 40. And has been at 40 for over a year. Does anyone have a suggestion

Curious if you have tested it on a power meter. I have two of these units and got suspicious because I was getting better signal reports on my 5-8W handhelds. I thought it might just be the cheap mic, but I finally got around to connecting it to a power meter. While it transmits at approximately 18W on UHF, on VHF it only transmits at 1-2W (on higher power)

I recommend piercing the hole into the conveter's NECK - because the converter is bad anyway, why mess-up part of the exhaust pipe? If it works, great, then you patch the converter . The bee-hive is deep inside, you won't harm it if you pierce the cat's neck part. A *GREATER* advantage of that is the NECK has much thicker metal (double metal), hence the patching screw will have more threads , i.e. a stronger grip.

@@BRENT3143945 Cars like Teslas have systems to heat and cool batteries even when the car is not in use. If batteries are not in a certain temp range their performance suffers significantly. The world is not ready for mass electrification of vehicles. At this point California can either cool their homes or charge their cars.

I try to keep all my 20 volts in my house when it gets below freezing, especially my 9 amp flexvolt, the rest of them are couple of batteries for anything 1.5 AAA & AA and 12v, sometimes I’ll bring most in even jump starter but I leave him in there sometimes which is risky for 12v jump starter. I definitely keep them fully charged and that helps a lot. It just depends how much I want to risk and how much I can replace, the 20v are harder and much more expensive and they’re being used the most, so I prioritize those.
