If my horse gave me that canter I'd be able to sit it fine.. Unfortunately I have an Arab so I don't get this nice canter. 😂 I go "turn into a fetus and pray I don't die as I bounce 2ft out the saddle"

How do you correct the wrong lead in saddle? Meaning, is there a cue with the reins I am missing here or do I correct this wrong lead by leg yielding each time? step by step would be nice

Well Zara you have made history, the whole team should shout from the roof tops, and keep doing so. Thanks for sharing and as for comments re Leggy you know exactly his limits and I know you are setting your self up to be able to do even better. And you knowing this is all that matters. so keep doing what you are doing, fighting, working your way through a tough sport x congratulations x

I love horses, i love dressage, i love Iraq friend from Vietnam 🇻🇳
@Nadi-w7y5 ай бұрын
Nice horse for novice tests...but considering the calibre of horses, bred specifically for dressage, trained to the highest of standards that Iraq government could buy you , money no object...to give you a real chance to compete at the highest standards. They could afford the best trainers, funding every part of the journey, horses care. Your transitions, pirouettes, extended trot, loose rein walk , unfortunately no matter how hard that horse tries, his confirmation will not allow him to manoeuvre the way top dressage horses do. It's not his fault, that he doesn't have great confirmation as he was made for hunting, not dressage. Hope Iraq government will finance the purchase of a ready made , too grade dressage horse.

My name is Brittny Bocchino. I just started learning how to canter, and my question is when you canter to the right, the outside leg goes behind the girth, and the inside leg stays at the girth?
@charliewhon65486 ай бұрын
It may help your horse if you would have changed diagonals much sooner when you went from left rein to right rein.

Some of the very best trainers use a double bridle -- notice the shanks on the curb hey are nearly vertical meaning that she's hardly using the curb- so don't be judgemental. best Bruce Peek
