Juist die bescheidenheid siert haar zo. Een van de grootste Nederlanders uit de geschiedenis, dat vind ik.

Anne Frank would’ve been 95 this year in June. So it is sad as she still could’ve possibly could’ve been alive and died many moons ago. She didn’t have the opportunity to be an adult, have a job, get married, drive a car, have children, have grandchildren or retire. The event from start to finish was also hectic. This movie was the best one they had. The other movies I watched was the one in 2009 and the other in 1988.

Thank you for the comments. It was very satisfying and important to me to compose the music for this beautiful heartbreaking film. RIP Anne.

And here we are in 2024 and the radical-right political parties have made significant gains in the European Parliament elections. Truly frightening.

Anne went on living after her death as she wished and became a famous writer like she wanted through her diary which stands the test of time.

Anne will truly be an inspiration for me. She sadly never got to see her adult years but still such inspiration. Children don’t understand how lucky they are these days. My half brother and sister are half Jewish and they would of ended like Anne Frank did. Such a loverly film. Even Anne would love this film if she was around now. Btw the actors did a fab job at portraying the characters but especially the actress who plays Anne Frank ❤ Comment blue heart for Anne and everyone else who died during this time 💙💙💙💙💙

This film was so beautifully done and the explicit nature of the concentration camp sequences in the end have haunted me since I was in middle school and first saw it. The despair and dehumanization that was forced upon those poor souls is too much to even think of. God Bless them all.

I remember watching this when I was in 8th grade. I actually went out in the hall when the people in the Secret Annex got arrested. This music is perfect for introducing this movie. February 1939. Anne Frank had no idea that very soon, her life would change forever.
