Wow a lot of hoops to jump through. My 66 shovel has power steering but is not original. But it works great. Maybe I have a Jeep gear box. I bought the car 95 % finished so I I might never know. Love watching the progress on your 66 shovel project car. Ken

I feel your frustration, I have a 71 corvette and that thing fights me on everything I do to it. It’s finally running good and the next battle will be replacing the trailing arms and rear end rebuild.

The piece you have is front the front grill and the rumble bee ram is just made 2004 and 2005 limited edition and they dosen't have any metals chrome is sad to what happens but is very hard to identify the truck

Do yourself a favor, leave the intake take off and spin the engine. Lifters rotate it should survive , don’t rotate it’s probably gonna fail . Sounds good 👍

That's funny - My first time buying a snowblower from anyone, I probably would have mis pronounced Troy-built. :) The only one I can say right is MTD because they are located in the next town over. :). Anyway.... I still have only used this about 3 times in the last two years but I love it.

Thanks for your kind words, Patty feels pretty good and just has one bruise on her lower leg, the air bags did not deploy. I don't own a Beetle, my wife has had 3 beetles over the last 15 years or so. We are down to one vehicle for a daily driver, the 72 Chevelle Convertible is currently for sale on consignment in Florida at Past and Present. I have a 1985 Trans Am that I have had since new, (not going to drive that in the snow) All the other cars you see me work on for Meldrum's Monster Garage are my friends or mostly Mikes.

Nice find! So much of it original! Would love to find something like that. It would be hard to justify dropping a v8 in it being so original. How many miles was on it when you bought it? Being original tires one would think the odometer is correct.

@@kevinmoore4807 not without modification of the upper driver side trailing arm. It’s a slightly different shape and has a reinforcement welded on to make it fit to the 12 bolt and give it the proper clearance
