1999 when I read Kingdom Come book. DC should have made the movie long before Avengers.

I agree. Where the Avengers was the outcome of different character arcs, I think Kingdom Come could have kicked off the DC universe with a huge ensemble cast.

All right, one extra.... I obviously do not know your history in Life or background, but please consider when you make these videos every time you use keywords like diversity, and other key trendy words nowadays to indicate that you're not trying to offend anyone, I would strongly argue it doesn't fit. There's nothing wrong with wanting to do what you're discussing. But don't advertise. Don't make it blatantly obvious that the only reason you want to do such and such is because of what you're stating. If it's a great choice, we will be embraced and other people will praise you for it. But it's kind of like doing a good job and then bragging to everyone you did a good job. Some things are better left unsaid and let others draw their own conclusions. And, I'm not alone in this any more than you are alone and feeling it is important to state some of those k e y hot button words you did, but there are plenty of folks, that would not even finish watching the video when they hear that because it has too often been associated with ultimately disrespecting the properties that you are trying to bring the life on the silver screen. Those words are all over the Star Wars Universe right now and look at the ultimate result. I'm going to give the people that created the acolyte the benefit of a doubt that I don't think they deserve, that they sincerely thought they were making a good product to enrich the Star Wars universe. They failed. They took something that once upon a time could not fail and ran it so hard into the ground because they injected all of our current day defects into a universe that was better off without them. I say this not justas my personal opinion and upbringing, but I say this based on the hard cold numbers of the money they invested versus the absolute rejection as a society that says it was not received well and ended up losing lots and lots and lots of money. If this project ever sees the light of day, I want it to be successful and enjoyable. I don't want to hear about how somebody race Swap and gender swap everything to make themselves feel good and then turn what is a great story into trash because it loses sight of what it was. And aside from the one casting choice I spoke of Elsewhere, it feels like overall you are in the right direction. Okay thanks for letting me ramble.

Okay, after finishing the video, one last thought. As I already stated, I think Batman needs to be someone else, and there are plenty of other good choices that as you argued on your own behalf or against yourself perhaps, when you stated why to go with Wonder Woman as gal gadot, to represents the character as it is portrayed in the book. Did you ever choose to re-record this video with your own voice, I would hit the very least acknowledge that I'm not going to be the only one that feels this way and offer a second selection for Bruce Wayne that fits who is. I don't disagree or have any real problems with any of your other choices. I actually like the Superman one. Never would have considered him but I like the, AI assisted artwork with the Superman suit to give a visual. Also, if we are allowed to consider actors that have passed away, I personally always thought Donald Sutherland would have been the perfect norman. I thought he had not only to acting pedigree and experience but appearance-wise would be very close. Though if the chosen actor you suggested grew a white beard, probably would do well. Okay, I guess this is actually my last point. When you have multiple characters to choose from, mix up your order. If you came predictable that the last person you suggested out of the three was always going to be the one you chose. Flip it around a little bit. Keep the viewer guessing. And Jason could do a short Cameo as Aquaman when Superman and Wonder Woman go to Atlantis to try to persuade him to join in their endeavor.

More great points raised - thanks for taking the time to share them. As Wonder Woman doesn't age, casting Gal seems a good fit, but I don't know how having Jason return would work. I also like your Donald Sutherland suggestion - he hadn't occurred to me, and i think he'd be a solid addition to the short list.

Ok, if you're a real person & you've fan cast this great comic, why use an utterly rubbish AI voice over. Sorry, that was terrible, could not watch the video because of it, certainly not going to sit through 45mins of it. Repost it & actually pick up a microphone.

The AI voice-over was not a deal-breaker for me however, as much as I like Idris Elba, as soon as you started going off about diversity and so on, it killed it for me. Not trying to be a bigot or anything, however, race swapping characters to acquire extra Dei points only turns off the very individuals you want to make this movie for. Case in point, the reason the Marvel movies after endgame have suffered so much is they have been so concerned with pleasing the minority that doesn't even truly care about the subject matter and the ticket sales and constant criticisms and poor financial showings all support my point. Look at the trash the Acolyte is or the Star Wars sequel trilogy. When you screw around and disrespect the subject matter, it doesn't end up well. This is not an alternate reality storyline, this is based heavily upon the original heroes in their original forms. I really like the idea overall but, if Mr terrific was part of the original storyline which I have not read it in a few years so I'm not sure, cast appropriate racial choices with the hero or villains of their identity and gender. Anything else is only going to make this a gigantic loss even though I really like the idea overall. There are just some things that shouldn't be screwed around with. But, this is just my opinion and point of view, but hopefully I have at least giving you pause to consider what I feel to be valuable points. Good luck with your KZbin career and, I do agree having a personal voice over versus AI is always going to be better but this was not by far one of the worst ones I've ever heard.

good video, I think it poses some good questions and ones people probably don't want to ask. We are all so busy and distracted nowadays, in spite of all the wonderful technology which is supposed to make our lives easier, no one has time to do anything. At least that's a bit how it feels. And I've long asked the question whether technology, generally, is doing the world more harm or good? It's not an easy answer.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think a lot of people feel overwhelmed by the changes that technology make to their lives. It will be interesting to see how AI impacts the wider workforce over the coming decade.

Different parts included some AI - GPT helped me take the original blog and turn it into a script, the images were created with Midjourney and I used Suno to create the intro/ outro music - and then I pulled it all together with standard video editing software. So it's a bit of both.
