Hey Matt I have a ford f350 with a 7.3 and have a hater for a neighbor he put something in my fuel tank is it possible to back flush an engine? I have installed a driven diesel return system if that helps?

What do you think he put in there? Generally older fuel systems can be more resilient to contaminants. That all depends on what the contaminant is. There’s a lot of finely machined parts in injectors that can be damaged when certain contaminants are introduced.

i kept on trying to start mine because i thought the def wasn’t reading turns out i added 5 gallons of def to diesel i drained everything tomorow adding 2 stroke and water additive i’m hoping im good

Thanks for the video. I put the DEF into my truck, The two lines are right by each other. I had this Karen flipping out at me for doing it in the parking lot. I did not spill anything. Stupid me watching him because he a nut job & not paying attention to what I was doing .I put it into my fuel tank. I drove a half a mile & my truck still said 90 miles to empty. of my DEF. When I got out is when I realized what I did, How did your friend do with his RV. after driving it

Not exactly sure. A few gallons for sure.

I put a gallon and half wigged out and flushed the 30 gallons of diesel out of tank refilled tank flushed primary fuel filter 3 times. No issues after 500 miles.

I once put about 2 gallons of Def in my diesel tank by accident but it didn’t do much to it and my truck still ran okay after.

Did you flushed the contaminated diesel, I just accidently put about 1/2 of a gallon of a gallon in my fuel thank ,the truck is running fine but I have a warming on my dash that says water in fuel filter drain , drove about 15 miles home the I'm here trying to figure out what to do .

@@GDSensei377 FLUSH ALL THE FUEL OUT. CHANGE FILTERS. TRY TO GET ALL THE OLD FUEL OUT OF EVERYTHING.

@@MrGrinxh well it stopped working so I had to remove the tank cleaning it out ,replaced all the filters ,now is working normal ,but I am trying to find a place to do the delete .

@@GDSensei377 im lucky enough to just have drained my fuel 3/4 and add 2 stroke oil and 4 things of diesel 911 and am doing ok a month later

Yesterday Oct 10 22 5pm my cascedia dd15 Put 85 gallon diesel the add 3 gallon of def in fuel tank My was running after I realized 3 min later red check engine flashing and With water in your fuel light 1 more min shut down Re started again pulll forward 100 feet straight to parking Call 📞 📲 some friends mechanics They give me good advice Drain and all fuel dumped After that I replaced 3 fuel filters + the big filter water separator the in glass Finally Finished 5pm October 7 22 Put fresh 75 gallon + injector cleaner Drained little by water separator filter Now I am on my way to Columbus Ohio 200 miles no problem I hope this will help Two things is important 1 Dumb the all fuel from the tank 2 replace all fuel filters including the water separator From that you are safe And you saved a lot of money Thanks

I did the same thing yesterday, I have the truck at the shop right now I'm praying def didn't get to the injectors 😢. Hopefully after they flush it the engine will start again

Do you have any contact info? My Hubby just made this mistake while putting gas in the truck today, can we contact you and get some advice? We have a 2017 Chevy Colorado Diesel. So bummed, we will pay for advice if any thank you.
