I think it will get optimized better, honestly. Other games ran at 40fps fine this could get bumped to 30 locked by release. I will still buy on PC in hopes of steam port.

@TheAlmighty that's a big maybe and rather unlikely. It was doing fine for the cross gen period but now that these are full PS5 generation exclusives they're too much more taxing than Deck can handle. It'd be nice to get it at a point where I could dick around with sets in camp at least, but I'd be skeptical of it being an otherwise enjoyable experience.

@@TheAlmighty well yes, but no, AFAIK they have 2 internal teams working on MH, one made for consoles like MH:Rise which was made for the Switch, while World was made for PC and this is the next PC/High end one.

What frame rate did you get?

"It's not about the hardware" is what people with old hardware say. Gamedev are gonna develop for a platform that lets them show off, and that's new stuff. That being said take a look at what the listed minimum settings are, because they are SUPER misleading. They list cards that are kinda-sorta at the same level as a 3050 (but not really, newer 50 series is still low-end and the listed cards are at the low end of the mid range of the previous gen, aka 60 series. There's so much more going on under the hood than "3050 has 6gb go brrr". You can claim equivalency but its not really). But whats super misleading, and where you are almost right saying the planned on letting it be this bad, is the last line: "Additional Notes: SSD required. This game is expected to run at 1080p (upscaled from 720 native resolution) / 30 fps under the "Lowest" graphics setting. DirectStorage supported." If upscaled 720p/30fps is your minimum target there should be some face-slapping going around. That's not, especially with how messy heavy upscaling is, an "enjoyable minimum". Telling people they can enjoy the game at that point is just lying to their face.

I notes a little unevenness on both too. Honestly this case is awesome but screen protects break super easy with it because the lip isn’t that great.
