@@santosinijoshi4599 The glorious golden age of 70’s, 80’s Odia music was made possible because of the remarkable group of poets who also wrote for the incredible Music directors of the time. The sensible and meaningful, use of very poetic and simple use of words of Odia vocabulary to provide depth to the compositions made the songs evergreen classics, a benchmark set at such a high standard that there are no match currently to come even close. Please share more information about the Lyricist(poet), Jugal Kishore Joshi Ji, the great Odia composer Upendra Kumar used him in few films like “ Samaprpan” and “Palatak” but there must be more about him then just these movies. Few days back there was a , screening of the movie Samaprpan and the organisers mentioned and felicitated those who were part of the project.

Pranab Patnaik is the best singer of Odisha, very very sweet voice and the vibration in his voice is superb and no other singer has that quality.He is my favourite singer
