If I have a membrane cartridge, do I need to be concerned about cleaning the torsion bar between uses? Outside of using alcohol? (Flite nano)
@inkjecta1800Ай бұрын
No, cartridge membranes provide that necessary barrier, but bars are Autoclavable just in case you ever want to run them through.

Hey, inkjecta! What about lubrication? I remember with nanos it was told to lube torsion bars before putting them into tube.. is it necessary to do so with this machine? Or somethings changed with the construction? Thank you guys in advance!
@inkjecta18002 ай бұрын
Hey There, While lubrication in the grip tube/torsion bars can help with noise, it's actually not essential, and doesn't provide any mechanical benefit. That being said, there is no harm in using a small amount of Inox MX6 in the bar tube of the Flite Pen.

put the rca connector in opposite placement to fit on nano. tsk tsk

We did this in testing, but we wanted the battery to work on all machines, not just purely nano's.
@vasilisgoumas2172 ай бұрын
That is really sooo bad. I completely understand that in terms of sellimgs maybe a battery that fits all the machines is better. But the nano owners have really a problem to find the battery that fits the machine. I have a nano and I looove it. I love your machines. Is it possible to buy one of those test batteries woth the rca to the opposite direction?

@@vasilisgoumas217 We never passed them to production level finish sorry mate. But if you have a look around I know there are some batteries that people have made specifically for the nano. They don't offer the full voltage range, but their aim was exactly what you're proposing. One that comes to mind is F:42, you should be able to find them on Instagram. @inkjecta18004 ай бұрын
Hey Mate, that's really personal preference. If the lines are solid for you then perfect. I would say on average that people would run a bit higher voltage for linework, but don't change what works for you just for the sake of it!

You can actually use the X1 grips on nano's...you just have to wind them in and out to adjust the needle depth. Be careful if you're trying to thread a steel grip onto one of our carbon frames though, the thread on the X1 grips are a bit tighter than the nuts we ship on them :)

@inkjecta18007 ай бұрын
Hey Mate, this isn' an issue that we saw in prototyping or since we've released it. The auto off feature of the Universal battery only kicks in when there is no load on the machine, So as long as you have a cam and bar on it, you should have no issues with auto shut down.
