You can use a heat gun to get rid of some of the moisture in the boards. Just run it back/forth over the warped part for about 10 mins to start, then let the board cool down completely and check if it's flattened out any. Repeat as necessary.

This must be the best table in the world!!! There are some fantastic artists making resin artwork, but this is in a different league. Shifted gears and is light years ahead of other great artists . There's a new king and I can't wait to see if the others will take up the challenge . Resin art has just changed forever, where to go from here? Five stars *****! Check out all the other projects.

micro bubbles are intentional? looks like bad resin. Clarity does not look the best. Probably should have sanded off the white colored resin thats all over the kauri. Bit of a mess really
@ResinWoodTablesNZ
@ResinWoodTablesNZ 6 ай бұрын
The micro bubbles you see in the sides is from the use of perspex for the mould trapping air in the first couple of mm. Once the table is completed all of those would have been sanded off when we come to detailing. The white you see are marks from working on the upper layers and like we have said before all the top gets sanded and detailed

Thats Mikes product. Works alright, just dont put on to thick or use as a filler, if it is to thick it tends to stay like rubber and you find it will clog up your sandpaper when you go to sand it. Nice clean piece of Kauri.

This is NOT how to do this and people shouldn't do it to begin with. Here there are no common sense safety precautions at all. At least use some push button switch or pedal switches (2 of either in series), so you won't be near the setup when power is on. And nobody else should be in the room. This guy might think he knows what he is doing by his own method, but someone else might plug in this setup when he is not there...btw, the voltage might be up near 3,000 Volts in those cables and I don't think those thin cables have the required insulation. Also one cable seems to have burned for some reason and touching that black melted area could be causing someone to die.

@@ResinWoodTablesNZdoesn’t matter how safe you make it as a qualified electrician I can tell you even I would risk it. You basically holding OLE lines which is absolutely insane it can jump up to 3 meters away and kill you even with a fuse it wouldn’t react fast enough.

@ResinWoodTablesNZ Жыл бұрын
Yes that is very true brother and one Of the reasons I am giving it a wide berth tbh. Would like to find a safer setup but being 5 meters away is the best bet for now
