Jim looks so sad. He had such troubles despite being intelligent, talented, artistic and attractive. A beautiful voice..really quiet and softly spoken.

Tot 1976 waren de kentekenplaten zwart met wit opschrift. Vanaf 1976 donkerblauw met wit opschrift en 1 januari 1978 kwamen de gele kentekenplaten met zwart opschrift bij nieuw gekochte auto's. Je zag in die tijd de 3 verschillende varianten dus doorelkaar :)) In deze film zie je geen of weinig zwart/blauwe kentekenplaten dus zal idd media jaren 80 zijn. Auto's gingen toen nog niet zolang mee als nú. De roestduivel tierde nog welig in die tijd...

Ze deden het toen al verkeerd: auto's op de vluchtstrook stil zetten met de politieauto ervoor... de politieauto hoort erachter te staan met de zwaailichten aan zodat je die van afstand al ziet, tenminste zo deed/en doet bijna de rest van de wereld het nog.

Van wat ik zo zie is dat hij sinds bij zijn h11-06-2013 huidige eigenaar is. Hij ziet er wel iets anders uit dan ik me kan herinneren. Als je deze indrukwekkende en mooie beelden ziet, én herinneringen ophaalt, dan zijn de huidige generaties toch doetjes hoor, of maken ze zwakkelingen van de jongere generatie ? Ik vrees er voor. 🙄 Als er vandaag op 1 dagje 1cm sneeuw valt dan staan ze al klaar met een rampenplan, als het wat hard waait vragen ze om liever niet buiten te komen als het niet nodig is, als de zon een paar dag te lang schijnt mogen we nog amper water gebruiken. Tja dat krijg je als je wereld bestaat uit het scherm van je PC, tablet en smartphone 😅

I'm afraid not. Once I sold it it went to somebody that said that hey would fix it. A few months later it appeared for sale but the entire front end was painted white(fenders and hood). A few months later the licenceplate got the status exported. So there is a chance that it still exists, however "exporting" a car was also a cheaper way to salvage it. However, if you track the licenceplate now it says per 30-08-2021 that it's no longer valid (stolen, scrapped or that it has a different replacing licenceplate)

Nou……..anno 2023 rijdt men ook minimaal 140/150 op de snelwegen waar 100 is toegestaan……..en minimaal 100/110 op wegen waar 80 is toegestaan. Het aantal verkeersongevallen met dodelijke afloop neemt schrikbarend toe……de ernst van letsels wordt ernstiger…….wat is er dan veranderd t.o.v. de jaren 60 en 70 ? NIKS !!!! En als ambulancedienst medewerker merk ik dat elke dag op !
