I was introduced to Carman in 1988 in South Africa by my High School teacher Mrs Niemand. In SA Biblical Studies was a subject offered to Senior high students. I studied it for 3 years and then at University for a further 3 years. Sadly Jesus has been chased out out schooling system. How as a teacher Jesus went to school with me every day. Many past students say that if it wasn't for me they would be trash gangsters or dead. I miss Carman however his legacy lives on through his unbelievable ability to touch the souls of the youth. Miss all the artists from back then....the Archers, Andrae Crouch & the Disciples, Love Song, New Song, Carman, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Parable, Dion, Silverwind,....too many to mention. All great artists with great music & message. So glad I can find most of them on KZbin. Does anyone remember the group "ALPENGLOW"?
