These axles boast 52 degrees turning…

Fun stuff. There are available textured spray paints, not as cheap as sand...rustoleum 248914 is one. Dries hard and then can be painted. With the sand though might be able to build up outer edges? As to the scx24- uses same front axle as the ax24 so other than the AX flip floppy bobble head issues, same turning radius in 2ws. I picked up one for the 4ws-thought would be nice for our course.. never been so disappointed in a purchase.
@-AnEv94222 күн бұрын
Oh turning radius of my FMS24 power wagon (stock) will turn almost 2 car widths tighter U turn than my scxc24 deadbolt or ax24.
@thankgodits22 күн бұрын
Hi all! Thanks for the comments! I will definitely use some of the textured paint to spray the snake trail, great idea!!!! Thanks for the insight on the turning radius on the SCX24 trucks… I have been doing a bunch of KZbining lol… found some after market axels that boast a tighter turning radius for the crawlers… I’ll try to post a link in another comment after this. I kinda really like my AX24 on my course. What don’t you like about it? I will do a test on my two crawlers using 2WS and post a video. I still think I will get an SCX24 C10 for my collection. I have some crazy plans for a diecast build… stay tuned! Thanks again for the insight… have a great day!

@@thankgodits Out of the box I couldn't keep my AX on its wheels, few mods mostly removing trays and redistribute stuff Its my go to on our course. A tiny gain on the FMS24 can be had by moving the 2 screws on knuckles to backside. Enjoy

Thanks for the comment! I am just trying to have fun with it… started building the course and had the idea to start the mini series. I got the character on Amazon just searched 1/24 scale action figure… found Klaus and started from there. Then remembered I had the Army men in a shoe box from a previous time… they happened to be the perfect size too… glad you enjoyed it… still more to come…

awesome set up especially like the forethought to add a 3rd level eventually. that big open spot underneath at around the 4:05 mark, is that for storing your crawlers? If so have you thought of adding a removable ramp so you can drive them out and then another removable ramp under that log bridge so they can drive up into your course? Just thought it might add a little immersion to your set up.
@thankgodits5 ай бұрын
Hey just now seeing your comment… sorry for the late reply… the third level has now begun to take shape… keep watching for new content. The opening you see in the bottom has become a garage scene for my mini movie series I call copper canyon… hope you are viewing them. On the opposite side of the garage are two drawers where I store everything. I like your idea though… there will be pathways to new dimensions to be built at a later time. Thank for watching and have a great day 😊
