I have been so impressed with your teachings with Improv. Visited your store at Stitchin Post on-line and loved to hear your family history. When I went on your website Wow I was so impressed. I called the store I thought at first I was talking to Val. She said I am not Val I asked if she carried Paint Splatter. She looked it up and we don't carry that fabric. I asked if I could order the fabric. NO!! This fabric Store Stitchin Post is one of the "Best" fabric I have seen in a while as a lot of fabric stores in my are are closing Seattle area.. Stitchin Post is a great place to experience a lot of creative ideas. It wasn't what she said it was how she said it. All your KZbins are awesome. Just letting you know I did not have a good experience and not very welcoming at all. Like she is not ready for her day. Thank you Jean for teaching me Improv. I love creating with Improv techniques . It has been a great experience Have a nice day Jean.

Hey , do you know how long do I have to leave the print for to dry? before I wear and wash it for the first time
@Stitchinpost3 күн бұрын
If you're using Speedball Fabric Block printing ink it takes 48 hours for the ink to fully set. The ink will likely be dry to touch in 24 hours but wait the full 48 to wash and wear. If you're using different ink try checking the container for their instructions.

I was under the impression that we are supposed to cut the edges on the round to avoid "dog ears" corners.

Do you mean rounding the edges when clipping corners? You can certainly do that. I wasn't too worried about perfection on a pincushion :)

How do you put the quilt together? I mean the detail pieces and the large white pieces?
@Stitchinpost28 күн бұрын
Jean quilts all come together a bit differently and it will depend on your finished sizes. Jean's book Intuitive Color & Design gives guidance on how to make this type of quilt stitchinpost.com/products/intuitive-color-design-book-2nd-ed?_pos=1&_psq=intuit&_ss=e&_v=1.0
