Went to UH today and it was horrible!!!! Food sucked, most rides were mid, cast members hated their life, everything was dated, and the park just didn’t feel alive. I went in with such high expectations and it just fell flat. Super bummed as I have to go back tomorrow 😢

First point doesn’t make sense bc Disneyland has many things and it’s one universe while Universal Studios has to do different themes and a lot of their separate themed rides don’t have their own worlds like Transformers, Jurassic World, The Mummy, etc… while Disneyland not only has separate themed locations like Galaxies Edge, Avengers Campus, Pixar Pier, Cars Land, etc… but still does a whole lot better at translating between the themes around the park. Second point is pretty fair. Disneyland does in fact have a small water park in Mickey’s Toon Town and in both Disney and CA Adventures there are huge playgrounds for kids to run and play on not only in the summer but also in all seasons. Black out dates come at every park but I will admit that the ability to get into Disneyland is more difficult than any other park but I’ve gotten reservations multiple times on that day of getting it. It’s not as bad or uncommon as most people say. Disneyland limits the amount of people who can come other park bc it makes the wait times a whole lot less which with my experience Disneyland has the best wait times now bc of this. The Genie+ is pretty debatable. I’ve never gotten it bc I have 2 siblings with disability passes which idk if any other theme park offers so that would be my counter argument. Prices at Disney are more expensive by a large amount tho. The Studio Tour is the best thing that Universal has to offer when it comes to rides but when it comes to everything else Disneyland stomps in rides lol. And I personally like the variety of rides at Disneyland more than just the Studio Tour, Transformers, and Harry Potter being the 3 basically only comparable rides to Disney lol. Space Mountain>The Mummy, Splash Mountain>Jurassic World, Rise of the Resistance<Transformers, Star Tours>Despicable Me, Thunder Mountain>Harry Potter Coaster, Mickey Attraction>Kung Fu Panda Attraction, Soaring over>Harry Potter, Mickey Run Away>Mario Ride, Peter Pan>Secret Life of Pets, Guardians and Star Tours>Studio Tour IN MY OPINION. Disneyland MOST DEFINITELY has better shows than Universal Studios! City Walk is better than Downtown Disney. So Disneyland has better theming, attraction rides, thrill rides, more play areas for kids, better food, shows, characters, better for vacations, it’s bigger, opened longer, more variety of things to do, and better scenery. Universal Studios has better availability to get into the park and cheaper prices which seems to be the only 2 actual good arguments here for Universal lol. The Studio Tour is the best thing at Universal Studios and there are still many, many shows, attractions, and rides at Disneyland that are much better IMO.

Where do you pick up your fast lane bracelets? Can you get them at any of the stores at the park or do you have to go to guest services? We are used to Cedar Point and you can get them at any store or pop up guest service booth there.
