Hi Eva, one of our colleagues has the Mission to the Sun so we've been able to test some straps for you, there's a few options to think about, whether to go full bold with the yellow to tone the whole watch together, you could also make the watch stand out a little more against a white strap, or go against the grain and choose a strap with orange to highlight the colour in the chronograph hands and Bezel, I've chosen my favourites here for you: For the Yellow I've gone for Tropic Dive strap as it's a great colour match and an extremely versatile and comfortable strap: bit.ly/tropic-yellow For White there's a few options like the white strap seen in the video, but for something different there's also the Hirsch Toronto, its a plain nicely tapered strap that suits the Sun really well: bit.ly/hirsch-toronto-white As for an orange choice I would say an Orange MN Strap by Erikas Originals would look amazing, the MN Straps are extremely comfortable and the white stripe would match the Sun perfectly: bit.ly/erikas-orange-mn-white I hope that helps 👍

This method might not work for every QR strap but it is handy to know about it. Next level after this removal technique is to snap/cut part of the spring bar so it can be removed. Not easy though.

Imagine the strap in the video would look amazing on your watch but it can only be attached using the watches screws & tubes or a thicker spring bar for example. In that situation you would need to remove the QR pins to fit whatever part needed to the strap.

Thank you for your input and you are correct, most people will wear their watch above the bump caused by their wrist bone. For some, that bump isn't as obvious and personal preference will prevail.

@@WatchObsession Yes, due to the shape of my arm/wrist I wear mine before that bone, as close to my hand as possible because if I don't the watch naturally slides down to that position anyway throughout the day or I have to over tighten it to remain in position which defeats the purpose of comfort and reducing injury. Though I use a nato band so the risk of injury is reduced due to the softness and flexibility the band provides.

Just try doing some push ups if you don’t wear it above the bone to see how that feels where the crown digs into the back of your palm. Speaking of injury…

Sorry that the method shown did not work for you. There is another way to remove quick release spring bars but it depends on whether you're happy that the spring bar will be ruined during the process. Using a pair of pliers on the lever of the spring bar it's possible to twist the ball end carefully until it snaps off; thus allowing the spring bar to be removed the same way as you would a conventional spring bar. Again, do be warned that this process will ruin the quick release spring bar. Hope this helps.
