So young. Can tell in this video where Rory is trying to go with his music. So raw, uninhibited. Love the back and forth with each other. Lol, the guys in back ran over to watch!

I was only 2 years old when this festival happened, but I grew up a hippie & started smoking weed & dropping lsd i& listening to psychedelic music in 1978 & I continue to do all 3 to this very day. Everyone should smoke weed, drop lsd & listen to psychedelic music...the hippies had the right idea, just look at the mess we're all in today

One might say you would have to lived his life to become Stevie. All blues guitarists seem to must have had a deep history. The most surprising element of SRV is that he could just play! The gift was given and the gift came with a caveat. The ability to just play and absorb anything he heard from any blues influences. The absorption of so many guitar styles. In so learning the sounds and licks he had to embrace the history and hard times that players went through. His sound and the sound of the blues doesn’t come without the entire experience. This is not popular music! It’s a door that you open if you have a gift. If you want to spend the hours upon hours pouring over old tracks. Many people love the blues but never play a thing on guitar. What I’m getting at is “Lighting”. Stevie loved the blues and could absorb it with an intensity that came from living it. The countless dirt floors and sleeping with his gear in a hall. The fever. The absolute resolve to live it. No one could really understand that. With every performance, no matter how hard it was to get to or tuff it was to get through. He wanted more. The sound and the feeling he could channel through himself into his guitar. The Blues. If ever someone references dedication to the Blues? Time in the trenches, the meeting of so many other players. The humility of the man for what he went through in his journey. Stevie Ray Vaughan is the greatest gift we will ever have.

This was the best version of the Allman Brothers Band. Dickey had a feel and tone that was the best! The first opening song was the definition of the ABB! Warren and Dickey were a great team on guitar, I could listen to this all night!

If Hagar would have stayed with Montrose & the band got more exposure perhaps, they would have been allot bigger than Van Halen listen to the cradle will rock & space station 5 I think there are certain sounds that could consider to be similar.

God, I miss 80's metal! I remember seeing Iron Maiden at Monster's of Rock in 1988 at Donington Park! It sure has aged better than the rubbish that's dispensed from record labels now. Long live Heavy Metal!🤘🎸💥
