I had exactly the same problem on mine at the g-string and I think everybody does some people don't realize it. And I just bought a new roller Bridge without that type of wire spring on it and solve the problem that way because the V grooves in the Saddles also were not very good. Marty Balin really makes this song but Mickey does have a great voice. Long live Marty but quit when your on top...please...

A good cover band. Like many of the other comments though, any figment of a SOUL is missing. As sad as it is that the original JA no longer exists, JEFFERSON STARSHIP with Marty, Paul, David Frieberg, Prairie Prince, Chris Smith, Mark "Slick" Aguilar, and many friends who show up, not to mention all the female singers who have filled in for Grace (Darby, Diana and presently Cathy Richardson) STILL tour and blow this cover band away! Hi: I don't think "better" necessarily means the singer has the soul to make the song authentic...I think soul lasts while technicality wanes. Furthermost, nothing compares to Marty Balin, any minor worts and all, when he performs like aged wine with Cmdr. Paul Kantner's for real "Jefferson" Starship. I accept no substitutes! :)!

Ahhh, the obligatory fiery brunette. Some missed opportunities for girl harmony on Miracles though. Yep, all in all, she'll do. :-) Did they do "Jane" at this show?

Sounds great. Starship sounds even better on a large outdoor stage. Heard them in Fort Pierce, FL.
