Wow, I didn't realize there are so many issues to get something depending on shipment issues... but I realize that I only order in the EU myself, just to avoid customs and other issues... I don't like being surprised. LOL. I have moterms but in the grapefruit color instead! I do love that it is easy to switch the rings in moterms... I put in rose gold rings!

I really like the darker “blue” that looks lavender to me…but that pink also looked “pink” on the websites, and I agree, it’s like the coconut white. Actually, I really like the one with the solid yellow top and white body. Also, the CON-70 fits in the Kakuno if you want to get that (but refilling cartridges is fine, I do that, too.) I just love the smiley faces on them. They are cute. I think there’s a solid red one out there that I’d love to get! (I’m not sure if I’ll like the grip…I don’t like it on the Perkeo or the Safari, it doesn’t fit my grip at all.) Thanks for the review!

That colorway looks like warm vanilla icing . 😅 My son has a Kakuno. I was impressed with it. It's a great inexpensive FP.

Thank you for your review. I love Pilot Kaküno. I ordered all the colours because I couldn’t choose just one, and as you said, they aren’t expensive. The website I purchased from had a discount on them as well, so it was a great deal. I’m quite sure you were sent the wrong colour. I’ve seen a few video’s with the pink one, and I think in this case, the wrong colour pen was packed. Hopefully they can send you a replacement with the correct colour. Madoromi is a Japanese word that means ‘ drowsy or sleepy or to slumber’

What's up Cory! I love the lil Kakunos. But I do have trouble with all of Pilot's converters. They all seem to be very cranky. I am thinking of just emptying out cartridges and filling them with the inks I love. But you know you can eye dropper those Kakunos. Have you ever done that? I think I might want to try it. Many thanks, that was very informative. I loved the bottle and color of Jinhao, usually there too bright blue colors or too dark, but I struggle to fing a beautiful blue that is darker but not blue black or peacock blue.

Hey Cory! To fix your problem with the 580, I recommend taking the piston assembly out, pulling the plunger piece out, and screwing the knob back onto the assembly, not fully, just until the top of the knob covers the threads it screws onto. Once you’ve done that, you can reinsert the piston rod, and slide the entire assembly back into the barrel for reassembly.

Hi Cory.. I saw your twsbi eco videos before, and I really long to say that twsbi caffe bronze is not rose gold, but bronze, as the name.. Its look similar but its not😊 I started my fountain pen journey with kaweco sport and twsbi eco. And I think you are the one with the most kaweco sport and twsbi eco collection. Congratulations on your new pen. My Eco smoke /rose gold is an EF nib, and it’s perfect. Mine is inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Take sumi. I use it mostly at work because we I use black ink at work. I love your bouquet of TWSBI’s. Absolutely gorgeous. I also really love your top 5. I too have my eyes on the Esterbrook Raven and the Pilot Wisky. I’m hoping to get them next year. I also have hopes that Pen Boutique would do a second release of Desert Eclipse. I missed it, and it’s on my list. Even though it’s sold out on their website. One can always dream. Hi Cory, You asked about the Platinum classic ink. It is an iron gall ink. Apparently due to the way it oxidizes and solidifies, it is classed as highly light and water resistent as well as archival. I'm not sure if some of the colour lifts up and just a black is left behind or not, as I think that might be the case for the citrus black one. However, I have no personal experience with these inks. But Iron gall is what they used to use, different formula, for writing before and it lasted. Hopefully that helped some. 👍

Both of my non leather filofaxes from 2016/17 have cracked and peeled! I ordered new this year too! Using Crossbow Planner Co for pocket size and my own for A5 (bc I’m super particular for work planner).

What's up Cory! I have a Jinhao 9019 and I love that pen. But guess what? I was cleaning it over the sink and the nib decided he wanted to end it all. Weeeeeeeeeee down the drain.😜Now I have this lovely thick pen with a huge ink compartment that I cannot use. I gotta find out where to get another nib for it. I really need some PET tape. And I took the one that I liked from you and sent it to London Gifties. Home girl tells me that she no longer had that one. She said she thinks Cory bought em all.🥲😁 Ok so I got lost on that site, way too many things to look at. And most of the stickers are girly. I asked her if she would consider making some dudely stickers. I know there is not a huge market for men, but maybe one day (We shall overcome!) 🤣 So I have been playing with swatches like the one you have here. Did you put white paint over the swatch, or how did you do that one? I am trying to find a sealer for paper that I can put on before I swatch that I can shape like the ones that Wearingeul uses.
