Total click bait on the title, there is no chase or charge at all, not even 5 seconds. But, I don’t get why the motorcycles don’t back up to give the bison space.

Thanks Janet. For a beginner at doing videos and utube obviously the headline worked. We hoped you enjoyed it. Have you ever tried reversing on a harley going down hill, thats omething im not strong enough to do and yes we did shut down the engines to help let the bison settle. It was an experience.

After seeing the other motorcyclists being charged and chased by the bison, don't you think the biker should have just turned the bike off and stayed quiet? I bet he hoped he packed enough underware.

@ourmidlifeadventures I'm glad you did nothing to scare them. Like I said before, the ones we saw were massive. Even in the safety of a car, we were afraid something would happen.

Back in 1970 I saw a bison double that size at an animal farm, a tourist spot in Lake Placid , NY. The thing was massive, and my folks had them nearby in Wyoming where they lived, but I’ve only seen one giant.

My wife and I have done Eaglerider trips a few times now. We did Route 66 in 2017. In 2019 we rented a bike out of their Phoenix location and did a sweep through Arizona, New Mexico and Texas and back then last year we did the Baja trip LA To Cabo and back. This year we are doing the BBB tour in Sept/Oct from New Orleans to Washington DC. These trips are always alot of fun with a great bunch of riders and a very good group of leads and van drivers to look after getting you through the route and looking after you along the way. The tours are somewhat expensive but well worth it for the experience and memories.

G'day from Melbourne; I'm doing this tour in August '24 with my brother. I have some questions for you: what month was your trip? What was the weater like? (Did you need cold weather gear?) And lastly, where did Eaglerider stay in Seattle. We're riding up from LA & have a few days in Seattle before we join the Guided Tour.

Gday Mick. Let me know the best way to contact and i can give you a call. WE went out on the 21st of July into August ride and stayed at the Crown Plaza in Seattle and booked i a couple of nights early. As for weather we were lucky and only had a bit of rain 1 day but always take your rain gear just in case and have layers available for the likes of the icefield parkway or going over beartooth etc. We had great weather for most of the trip, a bit overcast leaving Jasper but overall excellent. Plenty of stops for sovenier buying and tshirts etc.

Yeah, I'd be annoyed too if a bunch of noisy ditch pumps came down my street. Adventure? Riding through a national park, making lots of noise?

I live/work/play in Yellowstone during the summer, one thing I have noticed is that Bison do not like LOUD sounds, like the sound of a bike. They react to the sound as a threat, as if, You want to fight, I will fight you.

Really love your videos. I am doing this trip in August 2024. Then 9 days in LA and then the Wild West Tour. Trip of a lifetime. Love to hear about any tips. All the best. Hope to share my own videos.

Best tip is have your camera and gopros ready each day as there is so much to take in. Pack light and buy tshirts etc along the way.

Did our first Eaglerider in 2018 Route 66. Last year we did Yellowstone/Canada and we have booked for this year to do BBB with the same group of riders from last years Yellowstone ride. Highly recommended.

Awesome you will have fun on the Bikes, Beers & BBQ tour. Hopefully i will get a start on the BBB Tour videos in May as we are off to chase snakes and spiders in the Amazon for a few weeks. Never done video editing etc before so hopefully the vids i put up give work out ok. Working the numbers out to see if we do an Eaglerider Europe Alps trip next year in 2025 and then possibly Route 66 in 2026, hopefully the aussie dollar improves in the meantime. Thankyou for watching.
