We first got to Khaenriah before meeting the unknown God. Our twin woke up first but how long is the question and then when we woke up, our twin asking us to leave teyvat and now we mer unknow god. Maybe sealing our powers is just precautionary measure so teyvat won't repeat the same mistake twice.

theres also this theory Zhongli is not from Teyvat, considering his storyline says there are still 2 original archons alove to this day, him and Venti, which means Rukkhadevata wasn't erased from his story, and he wasn't affected by Irminsul

Mavuika doesnt have an extended life span, even as an archon. (Not counting the whole Phoenix rebirth thing) so zhongli clearly isnt human. Venti is a sprite. Nahida an elf. Focalor a water elemental. So they are explained. However, the real question is, what is Ei?

@MariaKlimtsova my only problem with that, is she still clearly has a human body. Incarnation of lightning or not, it should still age and wear. And yes, I understand the puppet thing. But she did that relatively recently. She was around 1,000s of years prior to that

Zongli is not from the land of Teyvat. He is just like the Traveler(siblings) a descendant from another world. Hence he doesn't resembles any other archons.

I have 3 theories First theory: Normal Theory He has a relationship or the possibility of knowing an unknown God. Second theory: Abnormal Theory He may be the unknown God himself or perhaps another personality of the unknown God or the good side of the unknown God that is separated or separated from the unknown God himself. If you see zhongli's voicelines he still remembers ruhakdetvater (I don't know how to spell her name off the top of her head) there is also a theory from a youtuber I watched (don't remember their name sorry) saying he might be from beyond the sea of stars (outside the borders of teyvat) as he has marking and coloured hands in his prime form, and zhongli also said he is bound by a contract, he has the same/similar abilities as the unknown god (possibly the heavenly principles) so he might be connected to her, maybe from the same world as her, but if this is true, I wonder why they came to teyvat in the first place, as well as how the entered teyvat, since it is said that being's from the outside hardly ever make contact with teyvat because of celestia, which also make me more curious about descenders, the first one is the heavenly principles, the second is 'the sinner' (makes me think of fountaine) The fourth if traveler, but I don't think we ever heard about the third, maybe it's zhongli?

The 1st descender is the Primordial one (Phanes), the 2nd is “the second who came”, the 3rd one is dead now and we don’t know their name, but we know for sure that gnoses were made from their remains, and the 4th descender is the traveller. But as we remember, our sibling came with us to Teyvat, so she should be a descender too, but according to Irminsul she belongs to this world, so the same thing may be with Zhongli. Or he is an outlander, which also means that he’s not from Teyvat
