It has been a year since my first match with William (which is also recorded in this channel), and happy to see that we both have become better than last year. The third set is capped at 7 points. We were up 6 to 2 in the third set but the kids had a really great comeback and proceeded to the quarterfinals. Good game!

Some notes for the third set before I forget about it. We made several mistakes and the score came to 10-10, then we got the decisive one for the interval. After the interval we made a lead for about 3-4 point (16-13, 17-14 or so). We reached the match point at 20-16. But then there were three super intense rallies and they got the points. Nervous at 20-19, and the last point was actually a mistake at the net by Eric. Lucky us!

Respect the National Champion in Div 1 playoffs of 2023 - WashU! Good experience to play with them and they recruited Michael Xu in the new schoolyear. We lost 1-8 but just keep improving. Which other school could have the No.3 seed of Chicago Open as their MS2? They also got the No.4 seed.:)
