Why can't they require a doctor's letter? I think Disneyland Paris does.

Disney needs to fix this issue and keeping as they currently have it is not the answer. I understand there were people misusing the system but punishing so many for the ill behavior of a few is not the answer. I have a bad back and can not stand for long periods and based on all the info I have seen I would no longer qualify. This system is Broke Disney - please fix it fairly.

Nice editing. This was very fun. I haven't been to the parks since 2008 but I used the single rider limes often back then. My favorite ride to use it on was Rockin' Roller Coaster. It made wait times much more reasonable the majority of the time. I am glad they still offer that option for guests.

How much battery did use up for the full trip?
@inforMobility4 ай бұрын
@@TheSgtk9 in Frontierland for this video , not much . Maybe a Tenth of the battery? But I had just replaced older batteries (that left me pushing the scooter out of Universal Studios, I own my scooter I didn’t rent it . ) also the meter on the top just shows the battery under load, not necessarily the actual battery charge left . Which is how I thought my battery had enough. if you are renting one from the park or resort , they will have it charged , but it’s different for everyone and it’s also hard on the battery to go up hills a lot . I hope this helps . Thanks for watching

One of the things that makes Tokyo Disney Park so much better is that they don't have a DAS program. Disabled people can have their wish ("Of being treated like everyone else.") fulfilled. You wait in line, like everyone else.
@monishabirdi82193 ай бұрын
In Japan the severely autistic are often ostracized from society as they are seen as disruptive and disturbing - almost never seen in malls and theme parks, more kept hidden away. The changes to DAS are not good! However I am glad that WDW is overall more inclusive. Too many are upset with the wrong people - people with the 'qualifying' disability aren't the problem here - let's hold off from making digs at them - the problem is the approach by Disney.

why does it say on fb groups that people with autism are being told they are not able to get DAS pass and it only is for children and not adults and are the DAS passes consistent with disability people have that qualify legally or is Disney turning away based on which cast member is working and their personal opinions and mood?!
@inforMobility5 ай бұрын
Great question. From my understanding. And I do Not work for Disney. But I would imagine that with so many different autism’s ( the spectrum and all) they are specifically looking for people who are being overwhelmed with stimulation. And that autistic just as a blanket term isn’t being used as a qualifier.

I will be going this year with a mbility scooter. Can a enter the houses with the scooter or with my cane?
@inforMobility5 ай бұрын
No, you cannot ride a mobility scooter through the scare houses at Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) in Universal Studios Orlando. Here's the breakdown: Mobility Scooters are allowed: You can definitely use a mobility scooter throughout the park to get between scare houses, shows, and food areas. Universal Orlando offers scooter rentals site.universalorlando.com/minisite/Theme_Park_Hours/wheelchair-stroller-rental.aspx if you don't have your own. Scooter restrictions: Scooters are not allowed in lines or inside the scare houses themselves due to space limitations and for safety reasons. Here's what you can do: Transfer to wheelchair: When you reach a scare house, you can park your scooter and request a manual wheelchair from a staff member. They will provide one for navigating the queue and the scare house itself. Consider alternative: If transferring to a wheelchair isn't feasible, you might want to consider enjoying the scare zones or the shows at HHN which are accessible by scooter. For the latest information on accessibility at HHN, you can always contact Universal Orlando directly.

Thank you So Much for Watching ! To answer your question…. Kinda , Maybe , Most Likely.. So. The batteries on each scooter will be different. But . If you plan to make it a point when you are eating or going to be in a long queue , to plan on Charging all the scooters for just a bit . It maybe full at the Resort and by the time you get to the gate it shows some drainage. There are only a limited number of ways to get From All Star Movies Resorts to the Parks . I made a Video for that as well kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZDJl4qZndR_i6ssi=bSkx_Xv8EZ2XjwKr Thank you for your support Let me know if there are any other questions? Ps. The Bus only holds two Scooters at a time. So plan on a meeting spot after getting off and waiting on the Slow Pokes lol, sometimes the restroom or restaurants , or better is a Big Landmark. Also DAS PASS ! It will be a time saver ! Hydrate and get in line to eat before you get hungry. When you are hungry. You can’t find food or get reservations For Forever . Hope these help

I am visiting Disney parks with my family in May. Only 3 weeks out of hip replacement surgery. We are renting a scooter for myself. Do you think the scooters handles the bumps ok. The type of surgery I am having doesn’t require much restrictions. It didn’t look like the terrain is enough to dislocate a hip. Thanks for the information.

Hey @ScottLRoc70 ! It seems that the level of uncomfort is made worse by driving faster on the textured walkways , so I think you should be ok for most of Batu . Outside of Batu the walkways are super smooth . In the end, what percent of the scooters battery was used?
@inforMobility Жыл бұрын
well, I had just put new batteries in about 2 months ago. the battery at the end of the day had only gone down 25%. I had gotten stuck at Universal Studios trying to go up over the hill to leave the park and because my batteries were older, they wouldn't hold a charge. I had to walk my scooter out. so, the reason I don't do battery level is because every battery's health is different and the display on the tiller doesn't show the actual battery level but instead show the Load on the Battery in real time. and then at rest shows the amount left but not the Amps available to move the vehicle. thanks for your question @theDuckie5216. I added the Inclinometer in the videos to help everyone know the Difficulties of the parks Terraine. then everyone can act accordingly with the battery levels on their Mobility Scooters.
