Most of this reels have plastic components in the inside ! They may look nice ; but durability maybe not so good ! After doing a long research ; Tthe best economic reel for the price is the Shimano SIENNA FE for about 29.00 dollars . The SIENNA FE not so good looking :; but very smooth while casting . I usually fish for stripers under the golden gate on the rocks and the sedona allows me to cast very smooth over and over again . To me the shimano SIENNA FE is a winner for the poor fisherman or in a budget fisherman.

SFOPEACE I’m guessing you’re making this comment because you believe this is full of plastic components? It is not. If that’s what you think, I suggest you look into the construction of this reel. It’s beautifully engineered with quality materials.

If you want one, buy soon. Bought one in the UK this week, half price, seller said they were part of a large mixed lot from Pure Fishing (own Abu), clearing stock ahead of the release of new ranges in the autumn. Even people working at Pure Fishing in the UK can't get them now.

GuiltyCrown X try the Penn international 7f , i bought it 3 years ago and it still in excellent shape and i can't find to buy another anywhere
