awhh, would've like to see a little counter measure for the kick in the last part :P But well done, let's see next !

Don’t worry next video I’ll do break down some kicks n counter kicks but in our system we barely uses kicks lol so I’ll do it anyways for ur request
@sobreaver4 күн бұрын
@@zhengOfficial93 True that, it might just be the reason I was somewhat curious about it, cause we rarely see the practice being about kicks, you just happened to make one or two at the end and I was left curious, but no worries, for anyone to learn, there is just a load of much more basic things to learn before worrying about the kicks, I understand that :) This dummy practice is not for kick practice in the first place, even though not impossible.
@zhengOfficial934 күн бұрын
Inside of wing chun form we do have kicks yes it’s rare and we do use it on wooden dummy as well so it will be shown and wooden dummy use for conditioning and it’s our opponent so it’s actually possible 😁

Do you not cross palms at the end of your SNT form? In 2 different lineages I learned that as your hand slides down your arm, you start rotating your arm and by the time your palms meet, they slide over one another. Maybe something to play around with and see what you think. Thanks for sharing.

Kung fu includes both defensive and offensive techniques. While it emphasizes fluid movements and adaptability, it also teaches striking and counter-attacking skills. It really depends on the specific style and context.

@@thejytv8956 no my friend, jut sao is u use the side of ur palm, lap sao is when u use bong sao combine with lap sao to yank the opponent downwards n strike to unbalance them
@thejytv89564 ай бұрын
@@zhengOfficial93 hi thanks for the corrections... Also to clarify as well does lap sau necessarily apply only when doing a bong sau form? Or it applies in many ways like just grabbing someone's arm when they strike you with a jab or something as long as the principle of grabbing and pulling are present am I correct? Thanks
@zhengOfficial934 ай бұрын
@@thejytv8956 You’re welcome! Lap sau doesn’t necessarily apply only to bong sau, although that’s a common scenario. The principle of lap sau is about controlling and redirecting the opponent’s energy by grabbing and pulling, which can apply in various situations. So yes, you could use it against a jab or other attacks as long as the idea of grabbing, pulling, and controlling the opponent’s movement is present. It’s more about understanding the concept rather than just sticking to a specific form. Hope that helps!
