First heard this song at the Columbus Blue Jackets game where I'm a full season ticket holder. Any time the Jackets lead at the final commercial break of the third period they always play it.

Dude was a psycho standing in front of his own team shots as much as he did but why a distraction for the goalie right there. Loved watching this man as a kid.

The last time period of character hockey. Everything now is milktoast and woke garbage. No more battling. I dont even watch anymore and sold all my hockey paraphernalia because of the woke garbage being shoved down my throat. Fun to look back at when the sport was great.

Mama told me when I was young "Come sit beside me, my only son And listen closely to what I say And if you do this, it'll help you some sunny day, ah, yeah Oh, take your time, don't live too fast Troubles will come and they will pass You'll find a woman, yeah, and you'll find love And don't forget, son, there is someone up above And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby, be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can? Forget your lust for the rich man's gold All that you need is in your soul And you can do this, oh, baby, if you try All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby, be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can?" Oh, yes, I will Boy, don't you worry, you'll find yourself Follow your heart and nothing else And you can do this, oh, baby, if you try All that I want for you, my son, is to be satisfied And be a simple kind of man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby, be a simple kind of man Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can? Baby, be a simple, be a simple man Oh, be something you love and understand Baby, be a simple kind of man

The refs needed to get their eyesight checked. But when you are that good they gotta come up with a way to get into your head. Did the refs have bets on games.

"Blood feud" by Adrian Dater is an amazing book about the Red Wings/Avalanche rivalry. After the "fight night" they realized it was out of control. The next game was nothing like this. Respect to Dater for not having a bias. Good read. Definitely recommend to any hockey fan.
