A beautiful detail that i dont think many people have recognized yet is that by saving Bakugo in this moment, the Traveler is actively demonstrating Bakugo's kingdoms qualities *again*. Protection, obviously by saving him, and Sacrifice, which by saving him, Traveler may believe that they're throwing away the chance to go home. They still believe that Bakugo wants to hide or destroy the stone, and by saving him and revealing themself to him, he could absolutely manhandle the stone away from them (in a fight, Traveler wouldnt stand a chance against him). but they take that chance, because they can't stand by and let Bakugo die. This story is so incredibly well written, i cant wait to see what comes next <3 <3

Bakugo: don’t complain when you get too hot under my cape. Me: I won’t. I need something to cover me while I sleep or I feel weird. (Plus I feel like it’s weighted so added bonus) And If I do get too warm I’ll just get up and walk to the hole that Kiri made with his body and wing and stand there for a few minutes and come back to bed. Or I’ll just stick my leg out from under the cape. It’s not that deep. (Lol) I also feel like after Katsuki was sure we fell asleep he would gently drape an arm over our side and hold us but we weren’t totally asleep yet but we didn’t want to draw attention to it so we just smile to ourselves and sigh contently before falling asleep fully.
