Hard to determine its durablity since I don't want to damage it lol! But it is plastic so it's not rock or steel solid. As for flexiblity, as shown in this video, it's very articulated. And the joints are good. However; I had hard time detaching and attaching different hands. Not sure if that's my bad luck for getting a venom figuarts with parts that are hard to work with, or if it's a common problem with all of the venom figuarts.

I feel you; I hate what they are doing too. But I usually cannot help feeling that most of the new releases are worth collecting despite the budget demands.

I get clearance sale vibes from these releases. Like there are a lot of 2.0 bodies in inventory and they need to move them. That being said i dont mind because i now have a blue vegito “affordably” vs the crazy resell prices

Only good thing about 3.0 is the articulation. That's it.

@@mariosonic0411 The one they put on display at comic con look somewhat transluencent too, I think it's bright light they used and with the metallic color of the hair made it look that way.

Yes, as matter of fact I read and watch all Dragon Ball magna and anime series since childhood. But the more spiked up hair or head piece does not represent Super Saiyan 2 transformation. The hair being more spiked doesn't make it Super Saiyan 2, at least not officially as there are no mentions of this figure being Super Saiyan 2 in this set. And if you have watched and read Dragon Ball franchise, you would know a defining trait to Super Saiyan 2 form is not the hair spiking, it's the sparkling electricity in their aura, which is not included in this set and Tamashiii Nations is very thorough in incorporating details to their products. So this figure does not actually have the Super Saiyan 2 transformation effect parts. Having said all that, I do not disagree the spiked hair piece can pass as that of a Super Saiyan 2. So if you have this figure you can use that piece to for posing as Super Saiyan 2.
