I have just a plain Jane k2500 and I'm having a problem separating the motor and transmission you said it has 7 bolts I know the hog head bolts they hold a lot of brackets and grounds it appears that there is a bolt on top by the oil sensor and there's no bolt in mine but I'll be damned if I can get that thing apart. Do you have any suggestions have you ever came across something like this???
@lean-tocustoms79103 ай бұрын
@@josephdangelo1503 without seeing it it's hard to say, if the brackets that go from the trans to the motor mounts are loose and the 7 bell housing bolts are out then I not sure what it could be .
@josephdangelo15033 ай бұрын
@@lean-tocustoms7910 wow I really appreciate you answering me so quickly. The only thing I could come up with after watching a few other videos mainly Eric on South main Auto and he was actually pulling a 5.3 but it was a k2500 the dowel pins were stuck on his motor that he was pulling aluminum trans and steel and of course a vortec being steel itself, those two metals don't interact very well. I'm surprised yours came apart so easily but then again you were pulling in apart I guess a second time. Anyhow brother thank you so much for sharing your video you and your family take care and God bless
