Just figured it out: the cartridges are soft plastic and can loosen up in the sun, allowing a tiny ink leak.

What do you do with a junk journal? There is no place to journal or write. Just curious as I think it’s a fantastic idea, but think that it should have some function for someone.

R.I.P. sweet Harley. Harley died of kidney failure about two months ago. I'm so happy to see this video this morning. We miss her terribly.

What a wonderful, simple how-to video! I'm going to try this with all my saved envelopes. Do you steam your envelopes to open them without tearing the flaps? Thanks for the great video!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5TJq6GYj8-EnJosi=tl5_fZPtKQtAnUW2 I tear the envelopes open carefully. If I rip the flap too much, I reinforce it and let it dry before gluing it in normally. Also, slip a piece of waxed paper or cereal bag paper into the envelope while the flap is drying inside to prevent sticking together inside the envelope if any spare glue is in there.

I see I need to make a video of finished mixed media pieces. I use these for art journal pages and tags. I also use Frankenpaper as a base -- paper made from other paper, glued together as a mixed media base. 2022 summer I made a piece 15' x 2' and rolled it up for stenciling and stamping later.

What kind of paper base is that?

Junk mail and bill inserts: white paper, not shiny magazine paper. Newsprint melds onto it well with the rice glue. I put it on the floor and throw used tea bags on it to dry, providing the base color. I put the tea into the garden and use the bags for collage elements and reinforcement. That came about when we got green bins and found out that the tea bags themselves have some plastic in their paper and so are not compostable.

This was Harley's last day. Her kidneys failed: that's why she was drinking unusual water: watercolor rinse water, rain water in bins, the pond. I missed the signs. #harleylaloca R.I.P. I feel her near. #Felicelapaloma is confused.

Please do! I am so happy to hear that. I was just flipping through the book yesterday -- for no reason. Maybe the pages stir up interest in the air as they flip! I've been assembling and decorating Toilet Roll Tube books recently, as well as phasing out plastic glues in favor of rice glue. Videos up.

I love how you left the original stamps! I like that idea. Rice glue is new to me. I have used art glitter glue, mod podge and fabri-tac. I will have to investigate this 'rice' glue!!

I like this video: it has a lot of info and chat in it and, sorry, cracking myself up working on the painting. The first part is reviewing what I had done when the memory ran out and I didn't notice, and that's when "the Hand of God" stroke happened....
