Please revisit the pin 3 comment. The shield is the ground which goes on Pin 1. It may also be attached to a lug at the frame of the connector. Pin 3 is used for the minus side of the audio cable for balanced audio applications. Pin 3 is left open for unbalanced operation. Putting the shield on Pin 3 in a balanced audio application can effect amplifier gain and frequency response.

You're going to have to call ClearCom with your Pico serial number. The Pico is EOL, so it will likely only work with older EHX software, but they'll be able to help.

Thanks for doing this, had to watch it 2 or 3 times and mess around with my decimator for about an hour but finally got it. You did a fantastic job explaining this, honestly not sure I would have figured this out without your video.
