According to Steve Lyman, this new lineup was without a name until the middle of January in 1967 when they decided on calling themselves the Scot Richard Case, with Scott Richardson shortening his stage name and Case taken from Steve Lymon's middle name.

Right on! 1993 was a killer year for power pop - arguably the best of the 90's. Brilliant albums from the likes of Jellyfish, Redd Kross, Lemonheads, Teenage Fanclub, and the Posies. And then there’s this one, which just might be my favorite of them all.

All six of their albums are magnificent, and with such a variety of styles; along with the blues, there was funk, soul, folk, country and hard rock. And the songwriting is great too. If you don't know them, check them out today, there's not a moment to lose!

They were pretty popular in Canada. This song in particular was in heavy rotation on radio and much music (canada's mtv). My favorite song by them is Peace Of Mind from the Treehouse album, great lyrics. You should check out the Rheostatics. They're a Canadian band from the same era. Very eclectic. There are 3 different very distinct singer/songwriters in the band.

Amen!!! Question? Lately as I am reading scripture I get a strong sense of the separation between The Lords words and how it relates to the world. “The world “ being overrun with sins seems the wrong place to apply Love, patience, even forgiveness it seems those should be applied to the most personal trusted relationships of family and close friends? Am I making any sense? Why should allow the wicked to receive any of my attention or consideration? They are of the world and choose not to hear the Lords word no matter how loud I deliver it . I got myself twisted in knots over this……

Complaining gets old quickly and brings me & others down. When it's hard for me to stay positive, besides praying about it, I try to remember the words of Bambi's friend Thumper: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!" 😉 Thank you for this sermon Jeremy, I loved the message. God bless you.
