Pretty disgusting conditions? Amazed these places esp. in so called developed countries like uk are permitted to exist? No public outcry? Gosh who the heck would have an outing to this depressing horrible bleak an8mal prison?.. close it down for godsake? How do the staff work here? Really? How can they? Their own dignity and that of the animals. Shame on you all?

It is astounding that this is on KZbin! This is the same route that a friend and I backpacked (in reverse: Kingston Trailways bus depot to the beginning of this video and a little further up Watson Hollow to Bell Lane and Moon Haw Road). It was 1975. Toward the end of this video (and so, toward the beginning of our walk), you can make out the Weidy’s Furniture sign on the left. We stopped at Weidy’s and pulled out our dinners of Hormel canned stuff (scalloped potatoes and ham, chili, franks and beans, and whatever else). We climbed up the hillside across from Weidy’s and slept under a pine tree next to the railroad tracks. The next day, we hoofed it … and hoofed it … and .. oh, man! What a LONG walk! We were young and ignorant. I’d ridden with my mom a gazillion times from the NYS Thruway or Taconic Parkway to my cousins’ house at the intersection of Watson Hollow Road and Bell Lane. But a half-hour ride in the car does NOT translate to a casual walk. I have written a memoir about the years (during this time) about my frequent visits with my cousins in West Shokan. That this video even exists is astonishing!

I dunno but that might not be the whole enclosure. Maybe there is doorway to go to an outdoor area.

I realize those were challenging conditions ,he needs more front foot pressure & hands need to be way closer to the hips . start of season getting in shape ,free advice is worth what ya pay for it :)
