Watched this vids about 50 times. Amazing blues 😎😎 the pickups sound amazing. I have a js 400 and a jt 300 both in lake placid blue. Wanting a 380 in white but was waiting to see a good review of the pups. Defo getting one at the end of the month. Brilliant demo of this guitar 👌👌

Merci.

I want a strat to look like a strat, but I don't know if I'll got to JET JS-380; Squier CV 60's or Sire S5... I just don't know, for the look I like more the CV 60 but the neck and the narrow frets don't seems so good, the JS-380 looks perfect but I prefer chrome hardware. The Sire looks good but is not like a fender design, the jack location.

Thank you for the great demo as I'm interested in the 380 - subbed. Your playing is just as amazing as John Cordy imho, whom I also follow. Love my JS400 - like you I don't use the trem so it's blocked. Properly strung and stretched I have zero tuning stability issues even with non locking tuners. These roasted necks and fretwork are incredible for the money 💯

@@JohanJoosLaur !!!
@JohanJoosLaur23 күн бұрын
@@Nagatopubg Ah I see you edited your comment :) Any electric guitar (such as these JETs or any other brand really) do require an amp to play and have fun basically. If you play it without any amplifier (like you'd play an acoustic guitar for example), you will still hear what you play of course (if you're in a very calm room) but very very quietly and not in a satisfying way ? So an amplifier is needed, or a little multi fx (to plug to speakers you'd already have or to play with headphones on). I hope I answered your question ? :)

Nice play. Which one you suggest JS 380 vrs JS 400?
@JohanJoosLaur24 күн бұрын
Thanks man ! Well I guess it would be fair to compare the JS400 with the JS300 actually ? Or the JS380 with the JS480 ? Never played the 400, but it's a 300 with HSS configuration and minor cosmetic differences. So between the 380 and the 400, the JS380 would of course be my choice as it'd be a better guitar, objectively. That said, if you're on a tight budget and can't justify spending the extra 150€/$/£ for a 380, then the 300/400 are gorgeous guitars too for the money ! ;)
@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte24 күн бұрын
@JohanJoosLaur oh I assume JS 380 model lies in between js300 and JS 400. Din't know that it's a complete configuration from JS 300 and JS 400.
@JohanJoosLaur24 күн бұрын
@@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte What you thought initially would actually make sense, but no aha ! The 300 and 400 are two different series indeed, the JS300 and JS400 being on the lower end of each :)
@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte24 күн бұрын
@JohanJoosLaur I am from India. There is only one online site that sells jet guitar. The last time I checked them they don't have this JS 380 and 480. The stocks are so limited. They have only a few models. They have JS 300 and 400 which features roasted maple neck. As I checked the specs, JS 400 have HSS configuration and a better Tremolo Bridge while JS 300 is SSS configuration. I think JS 400 will be a better choice. I haven't played this jet guitar. I also like to know how the neck feels. I also prefer Rosewood fretboard than roasted maple. I am not sure about what to choose. I am completely lost:)
@JohanJoosLaur24 күн бұрын
@@Dinga_Detta_Chhangte Oh from India ! That's cool ! :) Did you try on Reverb ? JET do directly sell on Reverb(dot)com as well, not sure if they're available in India though...but it's worth a try, as they pretty much have every models available on reverb. :) If you're more interested in the 400 series, then they also have the JS450 I think. I do also prefer rosewood when it comes to fretboards, so I feel you aha ;) The JS400, JS450 are mainly maple fretboard made, but there are some with rosewood (the JS400 pink and sea foam green relic I think). The 480 only comes with rosewood anyway :) Having both a JS300 & JS380, the 300 neck is quite amazing for the price but doesn't feel as nice as on the 380 of course. 380's neck really feels "premium" compared to the 300 (the one I have anyway). If you have more specific questions about the neck do not hesitate ? Even though it's always such a subjective topic really aha. If you can't find JET on Reverb, or any JET available online in India, just send them a message through their website or Instagram, I'm sure they'll answer and tell you what's possible or not ;)

Very good, very emotional. What are your guitar influences?
@JohanJoosLaur24 күн бұрын
Thank you Leonel ! About guitar influences, it's a bit messy really aha ! I'd say my first years all about prog-rock (Gilmour especially, but listening to lof different bands in that genre), and then I discovered the blues with John Mayer like ten/twelve years ago, his Live in LA was a revelation aha. From Mayer, discovered all these great guys such as Philip Sayce, Mike Landau, Henrik Freischlader, Greg Koch, etc...also love Lettieri...even though I do admit not listening to guitar players/music enough the last few years. But voilà ! :)
