There are now 2 Eaglets DN17 & DN18

Their first 2 years here 2016/2017 they had 3 eaglets at least one passed each year soon after hatch. You might be thinking of another nest.

I don't believe so. DN 9 was 5 yrs ago and he fledged from sour so wouldn't come back to this area.

Eagles don't have a very good sense of taste. These two both enjoy turkey and pheasant on occasion.

I happened to be watching and chatting on the DE Chat, when I noticed some liquid come out of her. Said to myself, wow, not poop--and once I realized, based on her posture, I said, on chat, she was laying!!

from what I have read...how can this egg even going to hatch? Leaving egg all night...one time 2 hrs it's only 19 degrees out...don't understand...and, no second egg...not looking good

As we found out later, the egg was never viable..never was a chick

An egg can survive for quite a while in cold weather as long as it does not freeze. Think of duck or goose eggs..they lay their eggs 2 or 3 days apart..usually laying 4 to 6 in a clutch leaving them during that time, then they incubate them so they will all hatch together.
