Cheers … it used to be cambers and now it’s rocks in streams but feeling more confident. Certainly the more trials I do the better I am getting compared to just practicing

Just bought an Insta360x4 to try and get a better perspective (and to stop chopping people’s heads off when camera on my chest mount) TBH I thought it looked ok(ish) until I watched the other two ride it and the shape of the bank throws you vertical at the bottom and I bottled it 😳🤣… it is probably as high as a bedroom window and steep run up with a small gap on an angle… I was too chicken 🐔

I like the 360 footage but if you are close to trees etc there is too much fish eye distortion

Hi, my earlier videos are just using iMovie but then I went to Davinci Resolve (the free version) and much better. I have had three GoPros and haven't had any problems. Anything after the 9 has proper image stabilisation which makes a huge improvement. Probably takes me 4 hours to produce a 20 minute video but I enjoy it as much as riding the bike. I will have about 60Gbs of video from a day on the bike so takes ages to filter out the boring bits :-)

@@andybeaman a do a few meself and yeah takes ages, the day befor that trial was the my first side car race so just on doing that now, like you I enjoy it

What camera and software do you use ?

@andybeaman nowt flash, hero 7 gopro but its just the white version got it second hand, and a free app on me phone, should realy do them on a lap top as you can do loads more but it does the job

They are great for a phone 👍 plenty of time for a newer gopro (image stabilisation I think was from the 9 or possibly even the 8) and Davinci resolve is free and works on iPad or PC … it’s a great hobby alongside the bikes 👍

Love the TRS, on my third now 😁 my riding ability doesn’t justify a gold but you have to treat yourself occasionally 😎

it's a game changer for me, if the bike is in a gully or on a rock a may not be able to reach the kick start safely so I just press a button! I know it makes the front slightly heavier but the forks are made lighter to compensate. I am surprised no one else does them as I understand it makes up a fair proportion of their sales

@@andybeaman yeah i get it for sure. when i bought mine it wasn't an option, the 2023's here in Canada don't have the electric starter. i think just kickstarter models got brought in. still, the TRS starts way better than some of the gassers lol !!! cheers

I am still getting the hang of it, and unfortunately a lot of trials riding is close to trees which is worrying ! .. but worth the investment, these drones are incredible
