THX for the nice Video! Can you say on what lake you are?
@horstsergio35686 күн бұрын
Video is mostly Germany / Chiemsee, showing at moderate west and east wind conditions. Allowed me to have about 20 parawing - DW - session there during last 8 month since spring 2024.

As somebody asked: The white screws (M5 and M4) are made of plastic, I guess nylon but not sure, the standard what you get in the hardware store. The main wood half with the screws is made of stronger beech wood and the conter cover half is made of lighter spruce. I have now two handles in usage since a month and they both work fine with my Peak Parawings.

Why do you want to pump stabless?
@horstsergio356825 күн бұрын
As it feels more efficient to me, less resistance, better manoeuvrability on waves; check 8 years of documentation at kiteforum

You need a better camera but well done 👍🏼

I started to mess around with my Peak but just the thought of putting the lower bridal back together after taking it off seemed like it would be a ton of work :(

Don't worry, even if all main bridles come loose and get mixed, there is a logic structure that can be learned and get used to. But a help can be to use crepe tape to fix part of bridle to a floor or a desk to keep them sorted till you reinstall them to a parawing handle or back to a kite mixer. If learned, as you see in the video, it is all just about minutes.

Nice…I converted my 3.5 m 3 lines Ozone trainer, it does not have a depower line, I shorten ( removed the pigtail knots & reconnected ) lines to use as a Parawing but very under power. FS Peak 4 has 2 depower lines, how did you shorten the depower lines? Thx…

Sollte das nicht sogar mit einem Nasawing klappen?
@horstsergio35682 ай бұрын
Nasawing is IMO just thinkable as a PaddleUp replacement, as its upwind capability should be even worse than BRM Maliko. If You want to go fast back upwind between Your DW runs till now there is IMO nothing that beats Exowing or Peak-Parawing-Conversions Diskussion auf Deutsch findet sich hier: oaseforum.de/showthread.php?p=1493890

What size peaks are you using?
@horstsergio35682 ай бұрын
Peak5 in 2,5 m², for higher winds Peak4 in 3,0 m², which has the best over all behaviour Exowing 3,5 m², which has the option to be used as 2,5 m², when wingtips are kept folded

Hey warum stellst du eigentlich Videos ein, wenn du eh nicht auf Fragen reagierst. Das ist ein wirklich unschönes Verhalten.

How much wind was there? It looks super light. Most ppl using foil kites use enormous sizes like 15 or 18m. If you can ride LW with a 5m it becomes very interesting
@DmitriyLaktyushkin3 жыл бұрын
@@davidflusin5705 I'm 65 kg and got going with a 13m closed cell foil in 5-6kts. Much more effort required to keep kite flying, front facing water relaunch also impossible at these wind speeds. I'd say at low wind speeds you want the efficiency of closed cell for the extra .5kt low end.

Any recommendations for landing the kite and packing in shallow water? Not enough room at my spot to land the 15m sonic on land. Gonna try this drift launch in the coming weeks when I get my foil board back from the repair shop :)

@Bernd would you recommend to fly the peak with a 4-line bar and a V? Or better the original setup with a Y? What are your thoughts on the 5th line especially with regard to deep water and drift launching?
