How utterly beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes. When they're old, like me, they'll miss it more than words can say. The hours of practice and money to compete at this level is staggering. When you love the dance you somehow figure it out.

He is NOT SMOOTH. He is hard, and his free arm (when arm is free) is totally unmusical and uncoordinated with the body. His head, neck and shoulders not relaxed. Anna is a quite different story. They belong to two different divisions.

No question, very good dancing. Crystal clear posture and lines. Very judge-friendly dancing. But they don't reach my heart. The footwork could be softer and the backs could also be freer. So for me Dusan and Valeria are more musical and therefore the better couple.

Beautiful dress. 1st minute until 1.23 relaxed, calm, elegant. (last minute a bit chaos and not so good dancing)

Abrupt and very unfortunate opening section until 0.30. Then suddenly it becomes different, very, very, different. And elegant. Very elegant and slow and fulfillment of moves. I hope rush-opening is never repeated by Valerio. And the chaos of steps (routine) in opening section never repeated. This waltz is two different dances, one before and one after 0.30.

The almost fantastic improvement in the waltz (seen in the honor dance) is yet to come in the foxtrot. The fulfillment of moves, the stable relaxed top line, the slow on slow in back step, the balance, the footwork need massive improvements by Valerio. Michael and Sandra in the background is very good.

Valerio is not NEW. WDSF website lists 100 competitions he danced in from 2000 - 2010

It is a pleasure to watch this beautiful fox. They now match each other much, much better. He has his weight more forward, and he has excellent use of his feet. She has lower heels on her shoes than the other ladies, and she is cleaver to match him. As a couple they are much better than before, and it is a pleasure to watch.
