I’m sure he’s addressed this since this is 10 years old. A rod is never used to hit the sheep so this is a misunderstanding of scripture look up the use of the rod and the use of the staff. Test everything ❤️

"Here's what this means: Adam's goal was not merely to accumulate gold and onyx. His goal was to use them to make things to the glory of God. Adam's goal with these plants in the garden was to tend them so that he met his own physical needs and the needs of those for whom he would eventually become responsible, but also to tend them in such a way that they brought glory and honor to the one who made them. That's why we work. We work to the glory and honor of God. Amen."

What if the husband is a religious unbeliever / or what some might refer to as a "carnal christian"? What if he misunderstands the scripture and berates his wife to follow unbiblical, skewed doctrines, thinking that they're true? Is she supposed to submit and go along with those even if she knows the true doctrines? Or is this an area where biblical truth and following God trumps submission to her husband's false doctrine? Can such a husband honestly, biblically claim that his wife is being unsubmissive if she doesn't believe what he believes, but, rather, believes what the Word of God says? Is she sinning by holding fast to the truth?

Where in the Bible does it say that it’s ok for older men to long for affection from younger women and that they should get it from their daughters because that’s why God gave them daughters? (31min mark in the message)

My mother used the maxim Spare the rod, spoil the child,, and it very nearly destroyed me. I have complex ptsd now in my 70’s because I lived in terror the first years of my life. Such abuse in early years when the child’s brain is developing is extremely dangerous, and can lead to the sort of long-lasting trauma response that I have. Never in a million years would I raise my children as I was raised, fear and even terror dominating my grade school years. Sir, you display a remarkable ignorance about child psychology.
@createdbeing3023 ай бұрын
Disciplining isn't abuse, what's abuse is justifying your sin as not needing discipline. Interestingly, PTSD (a term coined by man) also has its root in sin. Where instead of trusting God, one is afraid of the things of the world. What's remarkable, is your display about the utter disobedience about God's word, the same God who made the child as well as psychology. You in a million years wouldn't obey God and thus raise your children in wickedness, but there are those who in a moment will obey God, and won't do so.

32 years old. I have a 15 year old step daughter. 4 year old son. My wife and I have been together since 2016. We've have a rocky start filled with strife and yet passionate love. We only started thriving when we got married and became closer to God. It was like blessings were unlocked and an all knowing God could tell if my heart was truly in it or not.

Sometimes I feel too much theological teachings in sermons end up complicating things unnecessarily. Indicatives, imperatives, doxology, crescendo... Explaining the entire Book of Ephesians, just to teach Marriage and Godly leadership of the man. By the time you got to the juice of the message I was already bored. Preachers, let's learn to keep it simple. If anybody wants to learn theology let them go to the Bible college.

When I met my husband it forced me to learn how to submit (it was easy but it wasn't). I grew up without a father (he's stuck in his addiction, has been since before I was born.) My mother was extremely overbearing and domineering. I thought the idea of submitting to ANY man was beyond degrading. Then I met my husband and for some reason submission felt natural. It felt like a natural role I had to take on and I was HAPPY to because he did the same. He took on his role as the Head of our household and he takes it very seriously. He strives everyday to grow in his relationship with the Lord so that he may become a better servant and a better leader to me and our future children. I thank God for bringing him into my life everyday. Not just because I love him to death but because he helps me grow everyday to be a better servant to the Lord and woman of God.

I realized that I am valuable because God gives women to men as a helper & a gift. It’s a privilege from God to give a Godly man a woman to marry. They have a great responsibility to provide, protect & lay their life on the line for us. And they have a responsibility to love us like how Christ loved the Christ. It’s very serious business. If they don’t it’s such a big deal that God will ignore their prayers. God does not play about his will being done & if we listen & submit to him he will lead a man that is submissive to him to us. 🙏🏽💖 We are valuable and not just a sex object. That behavior is from the men who worship Satan & give their body to do the things their master tells them. It’s very important to never be unequally yoked. God is protecting us! God fearing men exist & when you are a God fearing woman you will recognize him. I trust God he will reveal the man for me on his timing which is the perfect timing 💯🙏🏽💖

God knows I needed to hear this message this morning!!! I’ve been parenting wrong all these years. Disciplining my children in anger is what hit me the hardest. Second, not establishing the steps needed to achieve young adults (in the sense of Christian young men) hurts as well. Thank you Voddie for explaining my shortcomings as a man and father. I have some repenting and reconciliation to do, Amen!

I notice that we often virtue signal prayers in the comments. It often comes off as not sincere, and just seems to serve our personal "purity vanity". Whenever i pray, i do so privately or if it must be with a group. I feel fake if i try to comment it on youtube. Prayer is for God not for show. Just my two cents.
